Well, that's what the notice thingy told me to say. :x

Anyway, I'm Silas. There's nothing I can say that's special about me, but I'll try and think of a few fun facts.

1. I know Arabic...ish. I'm more than a bit rusty, but I have all the textbooks from when I learned still and plan on brushing up again soon.

2. I was kicked out of my house recently and when I return to that town to go to another year of college I'll be a couch-hopping hobo.

3. I'm terrified of whales, parasitic worms and large, flightless birds.

4. I own an X-Box 360 which I love. His name is Hat.

5. I love anything involving writing or reading, roleplaying included. If you're interested in doing some, lemme know! (I suck at romance though, so don't try that. ._. It's pretty lame every time I try.)

6. I'm a fast learner, so I'll figure this place out fast.

7. My avatar is naked, and for some reason this embarrasses me, so I'll try to fix that ASAP.

8. Oh my gosh, I'm really thirsty.

I'm afraid of large flightless birds because birds and I don't get along - I've been through a lot of weird-as-all-getout bird attacks in my life, and do I really need an excuse to be afraid of a 9 foot tall death machine like the Ostrich?

Whales are just terrifying because of their sheer size. There's something scary about knowing one could accidentally kill you and an entire ship without it even being aware of what's going on. Why would it care? It's too busy doing whale things to care about tiny human lives. D:

That's awesome about your brother, by the way. I don't exactly run into another Silas on a daily basis.

My bro is adopted. His name used to be Silvano. We didn't like the English version of that name (Simon) so we went with the Hebrew version (Silas). But you're right, you don't see too many Silases around these days.

I have now. xD Honestly, I don't think that eases my dislike for whales. Now I'm worried they'll pull a pistol out on me.


Silas is also Latin, actually. At least that's what my parents told me they got it from. -shrug- They could be wrong.

It probably is Latin. When I just looked it up, it said it was English, Biblical Latin, Biblical Greek, and a few others, but not Hebrew. So...maybe I'm wrong. I don't know.

So why were you kicked out? If you don't mind me asking...

Not until you pointed it out. xD Now I don't think I'll be able to un-notice it.

Basically I was staying with my grandma while I go to college because the nearest college to my parents' house is an hour away and I wanted to go to a community college to save money. She probably would have let me stay forever despite our disagreements, but she decided to kick me out once she found out that I was dating and in love with someone who wasn't white. I knew she was racist, but I had no idea how bad it was until she told me to get out of the house and never come back.

It's okay, though. It's been a few weeks and I'm living with my parents for the summer while we try to figure out a way around the whole "homeless" situation. I'm not worried.

Oh, that sucks. But it's good you can deal with it. What race is your girlfriend? (Again, if you don't mind me asking)

Yeah. We've never seen eye-to-eye on much of anything, so it was a matter of time. She would have found something to kick me out over eventually.

She's black, and probably the most beautiful, smartest, most spirited and independent woman I've ever met. She stole my heart pretty fast, to say the least.

Well, you can't stop love. I wish you the best with your girlfriend and your being homeless situation, and I hope your grandma comes to see that this girl is really important to you.

I don't care if she does, really. In the hour before she kicked me out she screamed at me the entire time even though I said absolutely nothing to her, trying to insult me enough to get a reaction out of me. She insulted pretty much everything that means anything to me, so she'll be lucky if I talk to her within the next few years.

:3 But I'm not angry anymore, just tired of her insanity.


...I feel like I'm going off on a whiny tirade here. My apologies.

It's ok. I always accept people's rants because I'm always afraid that I do them, too. So if people go into rants or whiny tirades, I always tend to forgive them. Though most of the time, I don't even notice.

It happens to the best of us, I suppose.

I'm just more of the listener amongst my friends, so when I do go off on a tirade I kind of feel bad. These past few weeks have been a little stressful though so I've had a lot to whine about.


In other news: Thanks to you I'm watching all of this guy's other videos. I'm probably going to wind up staying up all night doing this now. xD

Well, then it's even more alright for you to rant. You deserve to. It's one thing when people who have nothing to complain about do it, but when you have a valid reason, it's a completely other thing.


I did that, too. The two llamas with hats videos are my favorite. He's the guy that did Charlie the Unicorn, if you've ever seen that. Ferrets is kinda funny, too.

In the mean time, I'm going to try and clothe my avatar so I'm not running around in e-boxers. That'd be nice.

Did you see Llamas with Hats 2 yet? That's the one my friends and I quote most often. My teacher's never seen it, but he knows it basically by heart. Yeah, we're that immature.
