Well, you could tell us a bit about yourself, if you choose. Or maybe you're the type who wants to remain mysterious? Ooh, I love a mystery. Let's see... Was it with the candlestick in the dining room? Wait, wrong type of mystery.

 Anyway, welcome to Menewsha!

I LOVE to read! Last year I read more than 30 books. This year my goal is 40, but I'm only at 16. T_T I gotta get a move on. XP

And I assume you like reading as well? What's your favorite book? :D

Oh deary me... I don't know. I don't think I could choose even if I wanted to. Of the classics... Jane Eyre? and of the not too old one's the Authress Laurell K. Hamilton. She does great series so I don't think I could I can name just one of hers. Of the newest ones... ugh... idk... WickeD? that's the newest I've read so far though Scott Card is to die for! He does such interesting work. :3 murr....

Oh Jane Eyre is a great one! :D I loved that book when I read it.

I haven't read any Laurell Hamilton, but I keep hearing about her. I'm not sure I'd really want to get sucked into more series books like that though... I've read the Sookie Stackhouse books, and I think that's about enough paranormal romance for me.

Wicked was fantastic! I love Gregory Maguire's books. I've read almost all of them. His "new take on old fairytales" concepts really appeal to me.

Hamilton is fantasmic but makes you feel a little sad if you don't have a partner. Awwww >.< But they are amazing and her plots are great! Though her women are just a little alike in each book and in each one the girl gets several men, but for an author there can't not be repetition eh? She's really good at her imagination. I wish I could write like her... I really do.
<-- doesn't have partner
Oh really?!?!?!? I'll have to check those out.

Yeah, I think Hamilton's going to be too romancey for me. XP I've got man and all, but I prefer reading other types of fiction.

Totally! After reading Wicked, you should definitely check out Son of a Witch and A Lion Among Men. :D I haven't read the lion's book yet, but I need to get it!

Oh... yeah.... I'm a romantic through and through. If you're not then those books I don't think are for you. Too much smex eh? But it's also got quite a bit of action. It'll definetely keep you on the edge of your seat.

 Nah, it's not that the sex bothers me... I just feel like romancey books are too fluffy most of the time... I do like fluff books on occasion (that's why I picked up the Southern Vampire books), but for the most part, I try to stick with more serious stuff. I've been going back and reading books they say you should read before you die. XP The classics.

Oh it's like... no fluff. No, "Oh John... I can't live without you my wittle lovey dovey heartstring-puller." It's more like. Girl:"Kiss me!" They Kiss B: "Now you stay here and not die." Boy goes out fighting having a good ole' time while she's like "Aight! Let's get this party started." She jumps out the van and starts killing people and then random sex n between.

Obliviously righteous story. It's amazing really.
