If you want to earn gold, the best way to do so is to get out in the forums find yourself a nice discussion or conversation. We have lots of friendly people here, so it's not too hard to meet others.

Also, as luvlolli pointed our, games are a big help. You can earn up to 500 gold a day playing games. ;)
