Hello! :D I heard about Menewsha in passing and thought I'd check it out. It seems nifty thus far. I hail from Gaia, and though it'll forever be my home I enjoy branching out and meeting new people. :3 So, nice to meet you.

I'm a super friendly person, and I hope to make many friends here! Woo! :D

I'm twenty. I currently live in Georgia, USA. That may change within the coming months, but since my husband isn't sure where he's going to be stationed next (he's in the Army) that's really up in the air. :D I may get to stay!

If you're wondering why I'm up at this lame hour, it's because I'm waiting for my husband to come home after his 24 hour shift. Lammmmmme. XD I have 7 hours and 30 some odd minutes left. :C Not happy.

I just got married yesterday... XD

So what was your wedding like?

We actually eloped. :D LOL.

We were just going to check on getting a marriage license (we weren't sure if I needed my birth certificate or not and couldn't get an actual person on the phone who we could ask), and while we were there a judge asked us if we wanted to go ahead and get married... XD We decided it was a darn good idea, so we said our I-Dos.

I was in jeans and a Justice League of America t-shirt and he was in jeans and a Green Lantern t-shirt. Awe, love. ♥

You're absolutely right! It would be insane to spend tens of thousands of dollars on flowers and linens and food for one short day. XD In the end, the fact that you promised to be faithful and spend the rest of your long life with the person you love is all that matters. You don't need everyone and their mother to be there in order for you to make that promise.

A bunch of different things, really. :D Lots of stuff for our home, a little trip to Dragon*Con, random things we really don't need but want anyway. XD Stuff will go back into savings, though. It better, anyway. >=V It's hard to keep the he-wife from buying things. LOL.

When is Dragon Con this year?
I haven't been to it in about 12 years or so. I would like to go back to it sometime. I only had 1 day to spend at it when I went. I would like to spend the entire weekend there at least one time.

Dragon*Con starts September 3rd and ends September 5th. :D If everything goes well, we'll hopefully be there for the entire weekend. XD Hard to tell with the military, though.
