Ladies And Gentlemen.

As it may be quite obvious. I'm a Newbie to Menewsha. Though i've been rping rather regularly for a number of years now. I'm a Gaian Regular on a Diplomatic mission seeing if there are any other sites worth being a part of and I am giving Menewsha a Chance. Most of the people here from Gaia like myself are tired of the stupidity of most of the people there and that leads me to believe that Menewsha's community is a bit more Mature by nature.
Now I don't have much importent to say. I don't expect to make very many friends really but if anyone wants to extend welcome I wouldn't mind.

Hmhmhm quite well ^^
I had actually noticed you talking in the main fresh meat thread and was tempted to make conversation, but i'm slightly bad at beginning those ^^'
So you work at Disneyland Correct?

AmaniIshtar 09-09-2010 02:53 AM

Disney World. Disneyland is California and I'm in florida. It seems like such a small thing to be picky over, but there is a difference between the two actually. Disneyland is all one park, I work at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom, 1 of 4 parks, plus a shopping area that also has bars/clubs on the side(Pleasure Island) plus two water parks. Its kinda dizzying when ya think about it. So much for people to do....

Hmhmhm indeed it is. I've always wanted to work for a theme park of some sort even though to be honest most people say its hard dealing with the people and the kids. I don't personaly think I would have a problem with it. My mother works for the school district and I Volenteer for animal shelters once in a while.
And yes I'm sorry for my mistake there is a difference. ^^
Exactly what do you do there?

Thank you indeed ^^
So far i've been having a bit of fun, Its going to take a while to get used to this site compared to Gaia but I think I'll get the hang of it.
Though the lack of Forum notifications is a Deffinate annoyance.

If you look under "Thread Tools" you can subscribe to your thread and it will show up when there's a new post when you look under "My Account."

I myself am from Gaia as well. It took a bit to adjust, however, once I was used to it I find I prefer it better over here.

Hehe, its ok. Its actually not that bad working for the theme park, except for when you work in a park that has themed zones you have to remember certain greetings and info for that zone. The kids are shockingly more polite than the adults, tho I'm always tickled to meet people from the U.K. because they add "Cheers" or "Thanks" after every item they order, plus when handing me the money and when getting the change back. I work in the Food&Beverage part of the park, Out-door foods specifically. (I'm the one out at a cart selling Mickey heads on a stick, sometimes.) The only time I've had a hard time with kids is when they get upset and are crying and screaming(of course it depends on why if I'll have a hard time with it or not.) I'm a big ol' softie at heart and I hate to hear kids cry.

Welcome to Menewsha! :D We do have a fairly mature community here. You'll definitely find that the average age of our users is a bit higher than on other avatar sites. I guess our rules have something to do with that. We discourage spamming, so people tend to post more and post more thoughtfully.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Everyone here is very helpful. :D
