aah, I'm an art student majoring in media arts and animation

I like video games and books and roleplaying

I dislike people who whine about how hard there life when there are starving kinds in Africa who don't even have the internet to complain to. [shocking I know]

I'm ashamed at how much I like some face book games.

I can't really think of anything else, so ask and I might answer.

I know a few years ago I was wanting to be a Vedeo game Graphics designer. I thought it would be awesome to design some of the characters and features.
But that didn't happen.... college is exspensive >< lols
Thats alright though, cause now i am in the Air Force. ^_^

What sort of art do you do other than animation?
Im curious to see some of your work, but I understand if your protective of it,
I have a friend thats the same way, she hates putting her art work on the internet.

I do painting and I'm trying to get into illustration I like character and background design.

I have a deviantart that has a lot of cruddy things I don't mind posting, and pretty soon I'm going to start selling watercolor prints over etsy.com

and I have a short animation that I had 5 weeks to do on youtube here. YouTube - Purple Shoes the aspect ratio is a little messed up I've been meaning to fix it.

Sweet! Sounds like a fun major. I have a friend who's into 3D character modeling and animation. Sadly, he can't find a job in the field right now. He fixes waffle irons now or something. :lol:

Anyways, hopefully the job market will rebound by the time you graduate. :yes:

Sooo, what's your favorite book? Or maybe pick your three favorites. I know picking just one is hard -- I can't ever tell someone who my favorite band is, because I like too much music, and a lot of different types of music. The same is true for movies and books. XD

So I'm a fairly avid reader, but have been in a book rut and I need recommendations. I can't finish Catch-22, and I felt so bad about it I just stopped reading books and started reading magazines. XD But I've decided that I give up. I've tried to read that book three times now, and have not finished it once. It just can't be as great as everyone makes it out to be.

Haha I read a lot of dorky little kid stuff, like tamora pierce and lemmony snikets.

the city of ember series was really good to.

I'm not woried about the job market, getting a job is a combination of talent and how well you work with others.

you would be surprised how much attitude can ruin a career, its sad about your friend.

I have 2 years it should be looking up by then.

three fav books. hmm. I think dragon singer books from Ann macaffry make it there, along with the Alana quartet by Tamora pierce.

I also have a secret love for skanky murder mystery but I never remember there names.

I just looked around randomly

all the stuff is by price so if they don't have anything in your price rang on the first page there's no point in looking.

Nope, I know nothing of Ann Macaffry. What kind of books does she write? I've heard of Tamora Pierce though -- I don't really think that's up my alley though... I'm not sure how I feel about YA books... I've been trying to up the ante to more difficult literature these days. :yes:

Oh yeah, it's totally important to have a good attitude when it comes to the job market. :yes: The more positive you are, the better off you'll be -- and this is true in most life situations, not just the job hunt. A positive attitude is a really good thing to have. :yes:

You should be good in two years I'd think. But who knows about this economic state right now. It could continue... :sweat:
