Hey, I just got here
Hey,
my friend mentioned this site so I thought I'd have a look. I live in south-west England and am currantly doing A-levels in english, art, maths and RS. I love RPing, I've been doing it on online communities for years. Semi- to full lit. I also love HP fanfictions. I've read a fair few and took a whack at writing a little myself, though what I wrote wasn't very good. I'm better as an original writer. When it comes to how much I can write about something..I am mad. mad in the sence that, if someone writes me an email with two sentences in it, I can occasionally end up replying something like two paragraphs responce. Though I'm not very good at writing here.. That's 'cause I'm not really sure what to cover in an introduction about myself. I've never been great at describing myself. I guess you'll just ahve to get to know me if you want to. And I guess if you bother to talk to me once you've read this, you must've found something here which you can relate to. So hopefully we'll get along. Oh yeah, I also like reading things other than fanfiction. Favourite reads: Garth Nix - The Old Kingdom Series, Francine Pascal - Fearless series, Annie Dalton - Angels Unlimitted series, Cassandra Clare - The Mortal Instruments. Cassabdra Clare also wrote a fanfiction trilogy made up of Draco Dormiens, Draco Sinester and Draco Veritas. They were brilliant but she had to take them offline as she re-used ideas in her printed literature, or so I've been told. Anyway, nice talking, ~SMF~ |

I read through a couple of pages suggested to me which told me ways to earn gold. And I've already played a couple of games. The classics; tetris and space invaders. I prefer the latter. I hope I can get some friends soon, but I'm eager to check out the RP's going on also. I just need to find one which is starting out..I tend to feel a little out of place if I attempt to join in midway. Not that I'm not happy to read the previous posts, only that it's sometimes harder to fit a new character into a plot and I wouldn't like to intrude. Thank you for giving me a better idea on how to use this thread xD. |

Is there a page where you can design your avitar?
You know, like how gaia has tektek? Are you saving for a new one? And if so, what's it like? Sorry..I can be rather inquisitive at times, and I tend to let slip 20 questions within 30 seconds if I don't watch it. lol |
There IS the Dream Avatar Creator (DAC). However, it's only currently accessible to those who have donated to the side because at the moment, the DAC shares the same server with the site, so if it's opened to the public it would cause to big a strain to the server, causing lags and downtimes.
I actually have a few already, I just felt like going back to my old avatar. There are times I just get the mood to go back to a certain avatar, and I do. xD I have a whole drawer where I store the avatars I like, if you're curious. http://www.menewsha.com/forum/1765820798-post154.html No worries about that. The roleplaying forum is great here! I'd say the most active part of Mene, at the moment, unnless there is an event going on ;) So I hope to see you around on the forums, especially the RP one (I've been trying to stay active in my roleplays :sweat:)
