Me
I suppose that I am a tad older than most of the members, 57 to be exact. I am a person who is interested in most every thing and I have a good shoulder to cry on.
My avatar is named after my older sister who died of breast cancer. I own 11 cats and one HUGE dog. We live in one of the snowiest places in the US. No not Alaska. I am handicapped and use a wheelchair to get around, but always try to stay up. Well if you want to know more, contact me. |
Welcome on Menewshaa <3 <3 *.* We all been on your spot

Welcome to Mene!
I think it's nice you named yourself after your sister. Wow, I had 12 pets at one point, but 6 were cats and 4 were dogs. Then we had a frog and a turtle. I love cats though. What breed is your dog? |
Welcome to Menewsha, Ardith! A fellow cat-lover! Wonderful!
I hope you enjoy it here! If you have any questions about the site, don't hesitate to send me a message. :) |

Ooh, sounds pretty!

oh my goodness! 11 Cats! *falls over*
I can barely deal with one. I would hate to see your vet bills. What are the names of your cats? I have a ginger tabby myself. |
Okay, let's do this by color. Orange tabby: Catkin aka BOB (Big, Orange, and bossy)
Isemenos (Izzy) Scotty Black: Sumibara Lilith (Lily) Smokey, he is a little different as you can see tabby marks when he moves. Gray: Vlad the Inhaler Thora Black and white: Subaru Kamoi Tortise shell: The valorous Valkyrie Valentine Valery Odinsdatter (Val) |
Welcome Ardith! Yay another pet-lover! ^___^ And wow, your pets have amazing names, hehehe! I think Valkyrie Valentine Valery Odinsdatter /wins/ the name contest though, that's hysterical. I'm sorry to hear about your sister, and I really respect you for living with a disability. I have some minor ones that have kept me house-bound in the past, so yeah. <33333

Thank you Kitten. My husband has a beard and Izzy likes to get on his chest and try and clean it for him, so sometimes we call Izzy, Isemenos Flopalot Beard licker III. No reason for III just for fun. All our cats have other names we call them when the occasion demands and we tend to use the Japanese suffixes kun and chan alot too.

*giggle* My pup's name is Lucy "The Puppy Queen of Narnia" Pevensie, and most recently before her I had a cat named Liza-chan (but I had to move and she stayed with my room-mates). All my pets have had fairly long names for the most part, like Harry-the-kitten-who-lived-Potter (he was going to be put down when we adopted him) and Sir Jamie Licksalot!
