If you're embarrassed about your nudity, there's a few things you can do - Mene doesn't like to give clothes when you first join, because it makes some clothes be seen as "noobish," something they avoid. You both have enough money to purchase Ragged Shirt from The Costume Department, at only 30g, but at the rate you're both going, you'll have enough money for a full outfit in no time. :D
