You may want to start in the Charity section, where you'll find loads of people who like to help newbies get on their feet.
All the FAQs and such that you were looking for are actually right here in the newbie thread, and stickied. That should answer the majority of questions, though I agree that the earning gold one should be linked.

Other than that, the best way to make money is to chat it up! General Discussion is excellent for that, and I consider it my "home" forum.

If being naked freaks you out, worry not - the above mentioned charities will help clothe you, OR you already have enough money to buy your first dress from the Costume Department. ;) If you're worried about paying full price and think someone might have it cheaper, click "Marketplace," "Search for Items," and type in "Ragged", it'll pop right up.

Thank You for the suggest, and help, I wil look into these that you mention, and I do like chatting (in posts), reading the rules here, I'm only allowed ONE other account, so sadly I cannot have my whole band and crew here, and the other rule of not conversing with yourself, well, that hurts, I converse with myself a lot!

I also see the RPs have the same rule, so I might not be here much, not escaping any Gaia "drama" - just bored and looking for some convo to remind me I'm not the only person on the planet...Gaia gets dead at times, especially this time of year, when weather is nice or people graduate, traffic slows.
