Just figured I'd stop by and say hello. As you can see I'm new to the site, however I'm not new to forums such as this aswell as RP'ing.

A little about myself:

I've been RP'ing for about 13 years now since I've been in middle school. I'm a part time writer, un-published but then again who is? I've written several short stories, written poems, and have started writing a book about three years ago which I've stopped due to having lack of muse.

I get along with everyone and I do enjoying have a great RP.

Most of all, I do like Long Term RP's with a strong plot and create a strong character weave that can enhance and create progress not only in the story itself but in the characters.

Sounds like you'll fit right in since Mene has a pretty active role-playing forum. I started RPing back in middle school too, but I haven't had time for it lately. What kind of book were you writing, if you don't mind me asking?

I don't mind at all.

The book is about an average man living up by seattle in a town called Issaquah. He is a lawyer and an orphan who managed to rise to the top by pushing himself every step of the way. Of course, that is just the beginning he later finds out that world has a secret society of darker beings. Not to sound cliche but, Vampires. Not just them but Were-Wolves, Were-Lions, Were-Tigers.

In this fantasy world I've adopted the idea from Laurell K. Hamilton to have several stands of lycanthrope, some strands can be easy to get infected, other times it is harder. That being said I've also managed to incorporate another idea of hers about having Fae creatures in this book as well. But the catch is that they are all on one side fighting those who hunt them down. Now, I don't know if someone has created such a reality but I've developed a new system for the other fighting force which is, well, angels. Their system is some what like a vampire but instead of teeth to do the biting, each Angel has a weapon which is created with them, this weapon can take any form let it be a butter fly knife, or brass knuckles. It is supposed to represent the persons soul. That being said, an angel can convert people into angels by simply stabbing them in the heart with their weapon. But normal humans can be angels, they must have some sort psychic power which enables them to cross over into an angel.

The man I spoke about early finds out about this battle because of a female vampire which approached him. They found out that the Angels have been looking for him for some greater purpose so they found him first. later on they figure out he is half vampire and half angel, his mother was vampire, his father an angel. But to prove his loyalty his father killed his mother and left. When the father finds him, he stabs his son in the heart and dies at the hand of the woman vampire which was protecting him. She then bites him and has him take her blood to keep him from turning into a full angel, to give him the choice to choose sides again because in the end, he decision will change the tide of the war.

That's about it.

Wow! You've really thought a lot out. Vampires and were-creatures are popular these days so there's definitely a market for it. Funnily enough, I grew up in Washington so I know where you're talking about. Are you from there too? Any particular reason you chose Issaquah?

Yeah, I actually live down in the southern part of washington. I had a friend who lived there and we would always go up to this massive hill that had a lot of homes that were being made, beautifully made. Over looking was seattle and I remember just sitting up there and watching the lights.

Oh cool. I haven't spent much time in Issaquah but the area certainly is nice. You're making me homesick! :lol: But thankfully I'll be back this year for Christmas.

That's good, with the very mild summer were having I wouldn't be too suprised if we have a white chirstmas this year for once. It usually snows before or after christmas for us.

Yeah, same from where I used to live. It would often snow the day before and after, but never much on actual Christmas day. Which isn't bad when you consider that I would usually drive to meet up with relatives on Christmas morning, so it's much more convenient if it doesn't snow. I didn't experience any snow on Christmas last year though since I was vacationing in Thailand. :lol:

Well that is just lucky, I've always wanted to travel over seas, the farthest I've ever managed is Hawaii and that was for a family reunion. Breif as it was, it was a great time with the family. I don't have to go far usually on christmas, unless we go for dinner at a relatives which isn't usually to far, only a state over.

It was my first time away from home on Christmas, and although it was fun, I'm hoping to return home again for the holidays during the next several years that I'm abroad. I haven't been to Hawaii yet, but it's fairly high on my list of states I want to visit.
