Thanks for the welcome, and as for what interests me I have quite a bit. I'm a horror and sci-fi fan, anime, tabletop rpg as well as freeform, spent my fair share on mIRC back in the day and love to read but don't do it as much as i'd like atm. Play wow mostly due to the wife but am waiting for diablo 3...

So far yeah, mostly been checking out the games section since it's something I can do easily without too much time invested, looked through a couple of the shops last night but will need to get out there and post to build my funds and be more social on the site eventually. my wife has had all her shots too....or at least she assures me she did. Already had to change my hair because I noticed a lot of people have the same styles. Wondering if there is a dream avatar maker though...all I've figured is adding the random clothing to the cart but there is no way to purchase each separately that I can discern.

The dream avatar maker pulls a lot of bandwidth. Bandwidth costs money which Menewsha doesn't have a lot of, so the DAC is only available to people who buy Mennies (Menewsha's equivalent of Gaia Cash), if I recall correctly.

On another note, welcome to Menewsha! I migrated from Gaia in around 2007, so if you have any questions about the site, don't hesitate to ask. :)

So it costs money/virtual equivalent to use the DAC then? Not that I'm against it, just trying to clarify. And thank you for the welcome!

Edit: Does it tell you anywhere how much gold you've gotten for a post or do you just have to guess from what you had before the post?

The gold is awarded per character, and the most you can earn is 30g per post (for posts with a lot of content).

I think the current rate is 0.03g per character, but I'm not 100% positive about that.

On the days of CI releases (currently the first of the month and halfway through the month, usually the 15th) the earning rates are doubled.

And, when you start a topic (like this one) you also get a 50g bonus, plus 0.10g for each reply that's not your own!

The Quest forum is a good place that people use to keep track of what items they want and what they've got. :yes:

Well, like I said, it was cheap lol. Yeah, from what I read last night it's like a 5 hour allotment? Seems like a bit much but I could be wrong in what I read, I was pretty tired. I did see the quest forum but reasoned that was more like CI's and such.. I was just trying to go through the shops and get down what looked like something I might want since there is no way to browse the shops by item or color..
