He was a rather epic vampire. The end was sorta iffy but every episode before that was awesome, especially the beginning.

There are two series of Hellsing.
There's Hellsing: Ultimate and Hellsing: Ultimate OVA and OVA is the one that I watch and follow because the other one just isn't as good.

I don't know which one is the "right" one, but OVA is fantastically drawn and I feel like more work/passion was put into it's making XD

I don't know how funny Alucard is in the non-OVA version, but he's soo funny in OVA XD

Have you seen the Hellsing: Abridged sereis on Youtube? It's only two videos I think, but it's so funny XD

It's not what you think it is.
The maker of the video parodies the orginal in English. It's a bit cruder with worse language than the orginal, but it keeps the overall relationships and personalities of the characters. Just.. makes it really, really funny XD

Well, I'll think about it, but for me, my biggest problem is the voices and such. If they're off by even a fraction it makes me twitch...

Yeahh, with the abridged parody they're not the same at all.
I'm not sure about the actual OVA series. I was never able to find one that was just one language or the other so I had to switch between the two XP

Ah yeah... I had that problem with Chobits so I never got to get very far :(

I watched Naruto quite a ways in (before it got bad) and then saw it on tv and... one of the first episodes and it was horrible... o.o they even edited out every drop of blood in the entire thing, all the swearing, and all the voices hadn't hit puberty yet...

I only saw the English verion and wasn't too pleased with it XP

The Japanese version (for a while) was pretty good. When Orichi-whatshisname shows up it gets kinda dumb though...

I saw the first couple episodes, fangirled over Sasuke like everyone else, and then got over it.
