Best place for newcomers to start is in the RP request forum! Or go right to the requester and send them a message! I've been contemplating starting a new request thread, actually...

Anyway, it's true that the site is rather quiet around this time. But you'll always find those night owls who seem to be online all the time! Usually, though, you'd have to poke them to get a response, since they'll be meandering various places.
