I'm getting Chinese with my roommate. She ordered sweet and sour chicken and I just ordered some beef lo mein. We just came back from a trip to Cape Cod and we didn't have any food in the house and didn't feel like grocery shopping, so this was an easy solution. ^.^

Had to look up where cape cod was... o.o was thinking Africa for some reason...

Sorry! In Massachusetts (and the Northeast in general) we kind of take for granted the ubiquitous knowledge of Cape Cod and the Islands. ~.^

Her parents have a house out there that we spend a week at each summer. I got sunburned and I'm not pleased about that. It's kind of a weird place because it's full of affluent tourists who can be troublesome to deal with. But I like the ocean so it's always worth it.

I'm sure I won't want to eat until this time tomorrow after this meal. Any lunch/supper plans yourself?

I got sunburnt on a cloudy day. >.< I'm very fair-skinned, but so is my roommate and she didn't get burnt at all, so I was a little peeved about my misfortune.

And it's ok, so many people say, "Cape what?" In Massachusetts we just say "the cape" and very often that slips out and we look foolish to others. It always begs the question, "Which cape?" though to us it's obvious. xD

I know Boeing is an aircraft company. I assume you must live near one of their facilities. My father used to work for Pratt & Whitney and that company designed parts of the engines of the Boeing 777. That was a useless fact, it just made me think of it because my dad used to talk about it in those days. ~.^

I don't eat sushi anymore. I'm wary of raw meats of any kind these days.

I ended up with a bento box with sushi, beef teryaki, deep fried veggies (I forget their name)

I always used to get the sashimi though because it's so amazing. xD

It is amazing... though I've had thick slices of sashimi and I must say... do not like the thick stuff...

I don't particularly like the raw meat ones.
Most of the time, I choose the one taht is cooked. For example, unagi. XD
