That is a term for a person who is good at many things. And that definitely counts! It's takes a special kind of person to help people in that way. Do you work in some sort of home or facility perhaps? I ask because I know some people who do that sort of thing and it's like a group home for adults or assisted living for the disabled or adults with mental health issues. I also know lots more people who work with kids who have mental health issues and/or disabilities. A rewarding, although sometimes stressful occupation.

It is, indeed. Bit hard to peg what it's about without giving some of it away or failing to do it justice, to be honest. I could say it's a coming of age story of a sort, that it has a magic academy, fun hijinks, and manages to explain the unexplainable in the most beautiful of ways...that it plays with cliches and turns expectations on their heads, and happens to be oh so quotable, and all of those things would be true. They still wouldn't quite do it justice.

Here are a few quotes to give you a sense of it.

“Call a jack a jack. Call a spade a spade. But always call a whore a lady. Their lives are hard enough, and it never hurts to be polite.”

“We understand how dangerous a mask can be. We all become what we pretend to be.”

That sounds quite interesting indeed. Those quotes are pretty fantastic and definitely draw me in and make me want to figure out what is going on. The last one especially. I will most certainly add this to my book list!
