Why do you want to adopt be adopted: Well, it is a new site, and I want to know how things are. To be able to pick things up, and not feel worried I'm doing something wrong. Being able to talk to someone that knows what they're doing will be a great help to me.
What are you looking for in a mentor: Well, I want someone who knows the rules, and who doesn't mind me being a bit flighty. Fashion sense preferred, but not required. Also, liking zombies a plus.
Fun Facts: I was going back and forth on the zombie and corpse options for my avatar's base. I ended up with zombie, since that let me choose the eyes, not keeping me stuck on the ones that were honestly kinda icky. I also joined here because I was asked on tumblr if I had any advice for avatars, and it seemed like a bad idea to give advice on an avatar system I've never used before.

Sorry for not answering earlier, but I was at a con, and ended up sleeping for quite a bit afterwards to recover.

But I'm here now! I hope everything works out well.

No worries. I know how that is. Cons always manage to thrash me. No matter how many times I tell myself that I'm going to leave at a decent hour and such, I end up staying til 2am or so, getting up early to go back the next day, forgetting to eat until dinner time or later, etc (coupled with the fact that they involve SO MUCH WALKING)...so, yeah, cons and post con recovery is something I am intimately familiar with.

I'm talking to Cora on pm, and she is very nice.

And yeah, cons are just so energy draining. I stayed up way later than I should have on Saturday on top of doing far more than I should have. It wouldn't have been so terrible if I hadn't been floating on the wonderful feeling of no pain from drinking more than I should at the time. Not enough to go blackout, but enough that I just didn't feel the fibromyalgia. I'm just glad the con is filled with so many lovely people. I was walked back to my room by two guys and a girl, and they made sure I made it to my bed safely.

And then they came to check up on me Sunday morning, returning something I shoved in the girl's hand, having told her cheerfully to keep it. It was a hairband I had just got, and would have been sad to lose .

Cons are so fun, though!
