I came here after seeing a Menewsha avatar on the Facebook page of Skye: Endless Realm (if it's not okay that I mention the name, I'll remove it.. sign-ups are down and it's not a live site anyway so.. I hope it's okay!) Since that site is still in development til who-knows-when, I decided to check out the site to which the cutest looking avatar belonged. So here I am. I live in the USA~
I played TinierMe! They've closed down though so I'm here to see if this might be my new "home" that I've been searching for.
Traveling is something I love to do but haven't done nearly enough of yet!
I like birds and plants and Pokémon! (I don't know the newer generations though.. I've fallen behind! Help me get back into it? ^^;)
I love all things cute and enjoy doodling and doing artsy things. In college I studied biology, art, and Japanese language. Art and language study are more hobbies than professions to me, though. I also can speak intermediate Spanish and am trying to learn Swedish.
For work, I am doing construction, working as an electrician's assistant. I'm happy with it for now, but also miss the work that I had at a greenhouse and vegetable farm in the summer.

Hi there! Welcome to Menewsha! I saw your post in the mentor thread so I decided to come by and say hi to you. I came from Tinierme as well and I joined here about a month ago. This site is the closest I have come to something like Tinierme. The community is super nice! The avatars are easy to make everything is low in gold and you can get gold easy here unlike the other sites.

I also like Pokemon and Nihongo. I recently bought the Japanese version of Pokemon Gold for the gameboy to help me practice. I'm a fan of the old, first two generations, so I can't really help you there.. x)
I love foreign language, especially Japanese/Chinese.
I'm pretty new myself actually. Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Minako Axule thanks so much, I picked out some clothes and feel a lot better already. ^^ I see in a few ways how it can be comparable to TinierMe. The forums seem like a big upgrade! But.. the forums and marketplace.. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or are they rather.. quiet.. >.> Did you use TM's forums much?

Violet Thanks so much! Great choice with Gold, that's my all-time favorite: no question! The first two generations are truly near and dear to my heart. I remember being so excited when the discovery of a new gen 2 Poké was leaked. Sat at my lunch table in middle school all alone but barely noticing because I was studying the names of all the new Pokés! 8D *sigh* You have in your possession the pinnacle of the series, far as I'm concerned. And in the vernacular- what a treat! Enjoy!
