Hey Nikki! Welcome to Menewsha. :3
Everyone starts out in the buff, but there are plenty of new-users centric charity threads to get you in clothing in no time. : )

What do you like to do in your spare time? : )

Thank you! ouo

I should look around some more, it seems really friendly around here :D

In my free time, I do arty things! Pixel art, drawings, paintings and I bookbind, and of course I lurk about on the internet! ;P

*goes on a search for some clothes...*

Book binding! Very neat! I haven't met anyone who does that as a hobby, but the one time I tried it it was very fun... I just haven't gotten around to doing it again.

I take it you mostly do traditional art outside of your pixel work?
(yeeeah! Lurking on the internet is a great pass time xD)

I do both digital and traditional :D Depends on my mood, although I really should do more traditional stuff, I do miss it.

Bookbinding is an awesome hobby, I don't do it as often as I'd like because resources can get expensive and I don't think anyone would be interested in buying, but my handmade sketchbooks always impress my teachers when I submit work ;)

Traditional art is like that once you've started to go digital, isn't it? I picked up one of my sketch books last night for the first time in weeks and even though I've had it for a year now it's still basically empty. I mean, I like to draw and everything, but it's just almost all digital anymore.

I bet they are! Heck, I would be.
Though I can see how it can get expensive quickly... we only used some dyed muslin fabric, but that still has a cost. : \

Anyways, I'll let you get on to exploring Mene! If you have any questions go ahead and ask here and I'll (or someone else, really there are lots of very helpful people who will be online in a while) be happy to answer them for you. :3

Yeah D: I feel really bad too because people have gifted me so many awesome supplies, nice sketchbooks, promarkers and paints and I just don't use them. I think it's just a lot more convenient for me to do digital though cause it's all in the same place, and there's no mess.

But thank you for the welcoming anyway! I'll be sure to ask people in case of troubles <3

You are (almost) naked because newbie cloths is overrated :)
Welcome to Menewsha. We have a rather cheap newbie store if you want to get some cloths but we don't mind either way

Hi and welcome to Mene :)
Bookbinding sounds really fun o: I've never tried it honestly... Hmm, I have a tablet, but Idk how to really use it, but I am familiar with Photoshop quite well, but I just don't know how to really draw on a tablet. D:
I've tried pixeling once, back when I was younger and my creations turned out horrible. >:
Anyway, hope we can be friends and that you have fun. c:

HAHAHAHA I love it when newbies do the whole "OMG I'm naked' thing, it's so entertaining!
Welcome welcome! It seems you've found some clothes, so that problem is solved. I'm with The Wandering Poet anyway, newbie clothes are overrated. I spent a pretty long time naked preferring to save for the outfit I actually wanted at the time and still have extras. That's my thing.

Ah, I enjoy some photoshop myself. I have taken two graphic's design classes in community college and have become quite skilled though there is still much I can learn. I now want to look into it as a major on a different campus.

What is book binding?

I do Graphic Design currently too :D Though I've been advised that I should be doing fine art instead so I may have to make the decision of switching. :c

Bookbinding is what it sounds like, I bind books. :B Like handmade sketchbooks and stuff. I don't have many examples 'cause I always forget >.>''

A jellyfish book, which was a gift for a friend

And here is just a load of books that I absolutely adore, they're so inspiring ahhh. :'D

What kind of graphic design? :O
