Your girlfriend is right, this place is packed full of incredibly nice people. If you didn't like Gaia because of the people you'll probably fall in love with Mene. It's so different, it's hard for me to go back even to visit friends (I'm... terrible about that.)

What sort of games do you prefer to play online, Caleb? (Like MMOs, RTS, etc...)

Well I do various design related things of sort. Mostly 3D Design :3

I'm not really sure. I like the combat but the game seems to frown very heavily on solo play which I do.
I haven't heard of Bliss. I may have to look into that. I'm waiting for a game called Shroud of the Avatar [drool] it's looking beautiful so far...

Hmm a lot of people mention Maya but I haven't gotten to try it yet. I've done Catia, AutoCAD, Revit, FreeCAD, and blender for the most part.

I see, so people solo until level 20?

I actually prefer content over all else. SotA is actually going to be an extremely deep game :3

Any 3D modeling program is pretty easy for me to learn nowadays. When I was trained in Catia V5, my teacher taught us to learn instead of set information, that way we could continue learning after he was gone. Is Maya free?

How much does Maya cost? Once I have a job it might be something worth looking into. Learning a new program is always good to pass the time.

I'm not too concerned about the learning curve. I started playing a free version of Ultima Online and that game... it tells you NOTHING... just drops you in a city and says "Have fun", no tutorial, no help, nothing. [lol]

Ah, yeah I did go through a divorce. [lol] I'm over her though, been longer divorced than married already. It takes a lot more of the story to know why she did what she did though. Also, I didn't go for her because she was Japanese, but because of the qualities she showed.
What happened was that her mom died and she just flipped into a greedy materialistic person. I guess that "cling to anything you can" type mindset...
I'm actually much happier with my current partner ^^

I'm a gamer myself, though I haven't really delved deep enough into 3D design to really hold a conversation about it. xD
I was kind of just like, "Oooooh design! I wanna try!"

And then after an hour of messing around in various programs I was like, "Hahahah who am I kidding nope, let's back up out of this mess."

I already tried it and left... [lol] I'm far too picky for that game. While it's nice and all... the game's crafting system is complete garbage >.<
On top of that the game froze every 15-30 seconds :(

Well the freezing wasn't on my side I know for sure. Was kinda disappointed though, I liked the combat mechanics.
