Wow, it has been a really long time since I've logged in. owo I'm so sorry. I swore up and down that I was going to be on here more than I used to be. Life just kind of got in the way. The new hairstyles are sweet! So pretty~! I love the avatars here so much.

I've had a couple of personal crises, some non personal crises, and had to be a pillar of support. So I just haven't had a lot of time for the internet at all. @[email protected] Between that and college classes and trying to decide where I'm going and what I'm doing with my life... There's been a bit of mayhem.

But part of that mayhem is a three-month-old kitten named Milo, so it's not all bad. :3

I am sixteen, soon to be seventeen (in about a month and a half). I am homeschooled, but this year I'm primarily taking classes at my local community college. I'm going to be taking Japanese, which I'm incredibly excited about. I'm incredibly passionate about writing (to the point of participating in National Novel Writing Month during every session)(thus far, I have six drafts of six different stories) and want to be a novelist. I really enjoy role playing, playing video games, learning, singing, doing artistic things, and having conversations. I'm somewhat of an introvert, but I'm trying really hard to speak up and face my fears.

I'm catwithwings.deviantart.com, eternalcadfnd.tumblr.com, thatonegirlwithwings.tumblr.com, and EternalCADFND on NaNoWriMo and Camp NaNoWriMo.

How have you all been? Is there anything new here on the site that I should look out for? :D I hope you all have a good day.

Welcome back, CADFND, glad to see you. Sorry you had some bummers recently, but also glad you have a lil cutie to balance it out. Pretty jealous of that I have to say.

Cardinal Biggles: Oh hey! Thanks. :3 Yeah, he's been making me laugh quite a bit. He still has to learn not to shred the furniture, though. >w> How have you been lately?

I'm not sure my cats ever learned that. I've been on the okay side of things :)

Yeah. Cats tend to do what they want. >w> We just have to get him to stop clinging to the furniture like Spiderman before he gains a ton of weight. He's shaping up to be a very big kitty. He's practically the same size as one of our previous kitties was when she was fully grown, and he's still got a lot of growing to do. @[email protected]

I'm glad things are alright for you. :) Hopefully you haven't had any strange weather anomalies like we have... >w>

Hi Jelly! Yeah, it was. ^^; I'm not sure how long it was exactly, but it was long enough to get the banner to reintroduce myself again. Just had a lot of stuff going on. How've you been?

Just seeing a known name return to say hi makes me happy :D It's both sad and happy that people get too busy for Mene. Good for them that they have a full and busy life, but not so good for us when that busyness steals our users xD

Well... that would do it... my partner has been raising a 3 week old stray... and it gets more and more chaotic every day XD

@Jelly - Ehh, School and College will do that to you. >w> I'm technically a senior in high school right now, although I'm going to be taking my classes at a local college. The only thing I can say is that I keep coming back! :D

@Poet - Oh my gosh! Poor baby. D: (both the kitten and your partner because oh my gosh kittens are cute but they're hell on wheels) I'm glad that the little one has someone to take care of it. >w> I just hope that your partner doesn't have expensive furniture.

Yeah~! I've wanted to learn Japanese since I was ten, so I'm really happy. I was just ecstatic that it was even offered. I planned to take it at the high school when I was younger, but then they cut the program. D: I'm glad I got another opportunity to take it. :D

@Ling - Hi there! :D I like hanging around General Discussion and the Avatar Above You section of the Avatar Chat forums, so you might've seen me there.

Nah the kitten prefers her legs >.<

I ended up taking it in college as my "required language" :)
Hopefully the teacher is Japanese. I find that learning from a native speaker is the best.

Ahh, I see. >w> I hope she has a lot of bandaids...

Ooh, so you've done it! Did you enjoy it? :D
I'm pretty sure that my Professor is. :) I agree, that's probably the best way when taking formal classes.

Yeah I would need to know people who knew it though to remember much... trying to relearn it at the moment.
Also... even if it's not required... practice practice practice... I spent a lot of time talking to myself quizzing myself on vocabulary XD

Oh I'm sure she'll be fine. The kitten is still probably a bit feral so it's only a matter of teaching it.

I see. :) Luckily I'm going to be classmates with an acquaintance of mine, so I think she and I will be able to have small practice conversations. I listen to a lot of Japanese music as well, so that might help a little bit. X3 I learned bits and pieces through Japanese media, so I might be familiar with some of the basics. >w> Although lately I've been really into Korean. So far, I know a handful of words and can read it. ^^;

Oh, I see. The little one is probably just being a kitten. Kittens are crazy by default. XD Once Milo relaxed he started tearing apart the furniture. I'm sure your partner's little one is just like "play with me play with me play with me!!!" Milo's like that, too. XD He'll play tag with us.

Ooh that's good ^^ always good to have a practice buddy.

Oh I'm sure she'll turn out to be a good kitty :)
Oddly enough she doesn't want "played with"... she just wants to "hunt her leg"

Yup! :D And good to know someone in my class. >w> For most of my friends, this is their senior year. Technically it's mine, too. So I don't really know that many people around campus. ^^;

Ah. Might be worth getting a little catnip pouch or a little toy on a string. Or a catnip-filled toy on a string. That might be enough of a distraction so she doesn't shred so much. :D

Maybe if at some point you get foreign students then you can practice with them too :D

Oh yes... catnip... perfect for distractions. Unfortunately there's a small chance on birth a cat is immune to the effects

That would be wonderful. :D The college has had a lot of people from all over the world come to study (and I've met a few), so there might be a chance of that!

Oh, really? Wow. I didn't realize that cats could be born immune. >w> We had one cat that didn't really care about catnip, and that could be a good explanation as to why. Milo likes it but not too much... So I wonder if he has it too. I was starting to wonder if the boys weren't affected by catnip as much.

Yeah I think it was like 1 in 4 cats or something doesn't respond to catnip or something
