new from Gaia!
hi guys!!
i joined just now because i was sick of all the ads Gaia gave me I don't think the website's going to live much longer anyway, so here I am!! I have no idea how the virtual currency works here or how to earn it, but yeah, hi![squee] |

The ads are really annoying, aren't they [gonk] I visited a guild that I'm in yesterday, hoping to get some info on what the hell is going on on Gaia from the source, and couldn't believe they have ads on there. What are they, idiots? No-one clicks on those things! Even if they're targetted at you personally far more now. Hell, most of us just reach straight for adblock [lol] No annoying ads on here, anyway [:8] |

I didn't know refreshing too much also gets you banned...I wonder if that's what happened to my main account on there back then. -__-; |

Posting is one way to earn gold here. The length of the post determines how much you earn, so you are rewarded more gold the more you type, pretty much. ;) There are more ways to earn gold here, hopefully this guide will be able to help you out: http://www.menewsha.com/forum/commun...ing-guide.html Also, I think the threads you post in will be automatically subscribed if I'm not mistaken (if my memory for default settings still stay true), so if you click on the "My Account" tab on your blue dashboard, it will bring you to a page which shows you if there are any new posts in threads you are subscribed with. Yup, gold earning is through posting, and playing the games, though there's a 250 gold per day limit on the games.
If you click the profile button that's under your posts you can check all your posts. Click on the statistics tab on your profile and you'll see links for threads and posts [yes] |

Trades aren't difficult once you get used to them, You start one by adding an item (can't trade just gold, you need to add an item, then add the gold, then remove the item for gold only trades ><) at that point you can accept it, or wait for the other person to add their side of the trade and accept it from their side, then you do. Depends on whether you trust them or not. [ninja] But they are a bit temperamental. You're supposed to get a PM notification when someone's started a trade with you, but not everyone gets one, so they only know they have a pending trade if they actually check, which is annoying. : / |
