Returning...ish? Let's just call it new.

Hey there.

So I had an account on here a long time ago but I don't remember my username and I can just start over anyway.

I like anime, online games, some manga, Adult Swim shows, and playing with makeup a lot...

I'm also trying to learn Norwegian.

So hey.

Mythos 12-20-2013 05:54 AM

Hi Lynithe! Welcome back to Mene~

What kinds of online games do you play? [mrgreen] Do you have any favorites?

Lynithe 12-20-2013 05:58 AM

Thanks, Mythos.

At the moment, I'm into Neverwinter. I play MapleStory on and off, and was into Aion Online a while back.

How about you? I like your signature and avatar by the way.

Mythos 12-20-2013 06:54 AM

Thank you! :3

I tried Aion a long time ago but it was just a demo. I remember it being absolutely gorgeous but my computer was crying so I couldn't really get it. I'm trying to get back into Guild Wars 2 so I don't fall back into my minecraft addiction [lol].

Neverwinter is [drool]. A friend of mine streams while he plays it (when he gets the chance, anyways) and I adored it. I'm a big fan of Wizards of the Coast. x3

Lynithe 12-20-2013 07:03 AM

Oh, that sucks. I just bought a new graphics card so I could play Warframe with my husband. Guild Wars 2 is amazing! And I've never played Minecraft, but I've heard tons about it.

Aww yiss. I'm in love with Neverwinter's rogue class. Does he stream for any particular reason, like guides or something?

Mythos 12-20-2013 09:03 AM

He set it up to try out new games but he streams some of his favorites from time to time. There isn't any schedule to it either so, sadly, there isn't much point in me giving out directions in finding him >_<;

Minecraft is one of those games you either love or hate-- and if you love it you end up an addict pretty quickly. I'm not sure if I can let myself start playing it again!! -- That and my machine would probably just end it.

Aw! That's sweet! I love hearing about couples gaming together. Beat the pants off of him! [illgetu] ;D

Unfortunately I need to head to bed for tonight but I hope to see you around! Things should be really hopping here in no time. [yes]

jellysundae 12-20-2013 02:56 PM

I might have to taunt Mythos a bit more about the new things on Minecraft [ninja]

Welcome! Learning Norwegian huh? You brave soul! I also admin on a game that's 80% Norwegians, and in 3 years you'd think I'd have a basic understanding by now, but nope ._. The odd word, and one short and insulting sentence, and that's it. -.-

Lynithe 12-20-2013 03:44 PM

Mythos
Get new parts! It's the holiday season so everything is slightly on sale!

I might avoid Minecraft then, I get pretty easily super into games... I feel the same way about a game called MapleStory when it comes to being addicting/either loving or hating it. It's too bubbly for some lol.

Haha, oh man he's a master of all games. Unless we are playing Pokemon.. then he let's me win because I get all butthurt when my Dragonite fails me.

jellysundae
Yiss, Norwegian. It's actually not too hard to get the most common words down if you study them; their sentence structure is very similar to the way English is designed, too. The hardest part for me is pronunciation. If I could pay to roll my R's properly, I would. And some of their vowel noises, like ø? UGH.

jellysundae 12-20-2013 04:29 PM

OMG, People's names [gonk] That R roll is hard, isn't it, makes me feel like an idiot because I can't do it. But that's with names like my friend Trond. It's hard to say but at least you say it like it looks. But, there's a guy on the site called Terje...google translate pronounces that like so. The enormous difference between the 2 pronounciations is unbelievable [sweat]. I still need to find out from him if Google has got it right!

Some sentences I can figure out what they're saying because some of the words are pretty obvious, and some of the words are actually English aren't they, because I guess they don't have a Norsk term for that particular thing. Maybe I'll manage to be able to string a single sentence together eventually [ninja]

Lynithe 12-20-2013 05:59 PM

Trond and Treje are some fascinating names haha. I like Trond a lot if you roll the R. And good luck, I'm always scared to say words the way Google tells me to, haha.

You'll get it. I can get simple things down like hvordan går det and numbers, but I'm nowhere near getting any more than basic phrases down lol. It's fun to hear people speaking a foreign language and suddenly you realize they used an English word or phrase. The "F" word is apparently really, really popular in Germany.

I don't remember if we're "allowed" to swear on this site.

jellysundae 12-20-2013 06:23 PM

You can swear in context, just not at people in a fit of rage [ninja]

German is a rediculous language. If they have their own F word, it's probably about 15 letters long. [lol]

Lynithe 12-20-2013 07:12 PM

Good to know, thanks!

Oh god, have you seen Polish or Icelandic words? They make my head hurt haha.

Mythos 12-20-2013 07:30 PM

I know how to say "Stop it" and "I'm going to hit you" in Polish ... and "Hello" but that's where it stops. xD

I don't know how to be nice in other languages [gonk]

Lynithe 12-20-2013 08:58 PM

LOL well you're learning the important stuff, at least. Haha.

There are a lot of languages out there that sound like the person speaking it is angry all the time, though. German is definitely guilty of that, so is Russian. Though Russian sounds quite sexy haha.

jellysundae 12-20-2013 10:46 PM

Russian guys speaking English sound sexy too [ninja]

Lynithe 12-20-2013 10:59 PM

Oooh yes. Too bad the country is pretty terrifying haha.

KatMagenta 12-21-2013 10:32 AM

Ooh, I've never played Neverwinter but Neverwinter Nights is one of my favourite games. [:)]

I only know how to pronounce some Norwegian names by watching a lot of winter sports. [lol] Good luck with the learning!

Xilla 12-21-2013 01:32 PM

My fav accent will always be scottish [drool]
