What medium do you use for painting? I've only worked with acrylics, but I've tried cheap oil paint and I'm convinced that is not working out because I have to try more expensive supplies to make my final decision on howi feel about the medium.

@Clarius: I use mainly acrylic. I still make a lot of mistakes and have a lot to learn, so I don't have much experience with oil. It's a tough medium to use! You gotta have a lot of patience, I think! I would love to get into water colour at some point, but right now I've been doing a lot of digital art. (^-^)v

Well I get tired of waiting for acrylics to dry to move on, and they blend so easily when wet, so I that's whyi want to try high quality oil paints.

I want to try the digital form! There's a scanner at my house so I know that'sa good start, I just have to find something to draw then I can see where it leads me lol (I make pixel art, but I want to try digital drawings)

Do you have anywhere where you pay your work?

Oh... I thought oil paints take forever to dry? Like days to weeks to months even?? Ah well, maybe I'm confused... But I what do you mean by "pay your work"? You mean, like sell it? Anything I paint, I usually do for myself. I do a lot of gift art digitally, though! :)

Well, with acrylics they blend when wet, which is why I have to wait for them to dry (15-20 min). While oil paint kind of re colors an area or colors overtop of another while still wet.

Oh! Okay, I see what you mean! :) Unfortunately, I don't have it all together yet, but I'm on The Colors! Gallery and I post stuff from my 3DS there. Same username, hilarbees, and everything. I love that program. :) I'm trying to get my deviantart page up-to-date, but that has yet to happen... :(
