Obviously I'm new. [;)] First of all, I'm enjoying this whole being in my underwear thing considering that's usually what I look like in real life. I heard someone mention this site on Gaia and I figured I'd try it out! Let's see, I'm getting married in like two and a half months...OMG SO EXCITING. I'm like...severely awkward. Also, my fiance is the one who is big into anime, manga, comics etc. but being with her (yes, we're both girls! [boogie]) has really given me a great appreciation for all that. Plus, we've been to a couple anime conventions and I've realized the people there are muuuuuch nicer than the people I meet at work or school...So I guess what I really mean is I would just like to make some new friends! Yay!

Hey SeaSaltEyes, welcome to Menewsha! That is really exciting that you are getting married. I'm super jealous of the anime conventions. Have wanted to go to one but haven't had the chance. I'm sure you will make a lot of friends here. Most people find Mene very friendly. So your fiance likes anime and manga. What do you like?

Firstly love your reaction to the naked thing, there was once a time when I swear EVERY fresh meat would whine about that. Personally I prefer it even on avatar communities that automatically provide starter clothing. I was naked on Mene for quite a while because I prefer to save more than I need so that I have a fair amount of leftovers.

I too have been to an anime convention but several times, I go to Fanime every year with my friends. It is them who really enjoy anime and manga, I only know what they make me watch some of which are interesting and I do quite enjoy Miazaki films. I enjoy the convention anyway to hang out with them and buy t-shirts in the dealer's room.

Yeah anime conventions are way fun!! My favorite part is just people watching. Some of the costumes people come up with are AMAZING. I don't have a whole lot of serious hobbies (is that weird?) but I will always drop everything for a Bad Girls Club or ANTM marathon on Oxygen...Lately I've become best friends with my hot glue gun considering I'm making all the centerpieces for the wedding. I have a guitar too but I'm not very good at playing...I also crochet and knit and do crossword puzzles. I'm kind of an old lady...One of my many charms!

Haha, for some reason I just can't imagine you as an old lady. Must be that you like the anime conventions. That is a wonderful set for being a jack-of-all trades. How do you like Menewsha so far?

Indeed here at our fanime con there are some pretty amazing costumes.
I myself just wear a hat, usually my Shiagre Dog form hat from Fruit's Basket but this year I am looking into a shadow heartless hat from Kingdom Hearts. There are quite a few hand made ones online and one seemingly made company one on Amazon. I'm having a trouble deciding what to go for. The handmade ones are more accurate but the company made one is cheapest and I'm not made of money. XD

Well, I'm not really an old lady...I just act like one. I actually just turned 22. I do like Menewsha it's just like waaaay hard for me to jump right in on forums and stuff like that...Plus I've been traveling a lot and haven't had much time to spend getting to know the site. But I don't have a job anymore (don't know if I quit or got fired) so I'll have a lot more time to spend here!

Yeah, I can't imagine what people go through for some of those outfits! I won't be able to go to Anime Iowa this year because of the wedding...lame. Haha, but next year I think my fiance and I are going as our favorite Pokemon. I'll be Cyndaquil of course cause he's just so dang cute!!

I am glad you can spend more time here, but not sure the reason is a happy one. If it makes you feel better, I was here several months before I got the nerve to post in forums and over a year before I tried what I really enjoy doing - roleplaying. Call me shy?

And trust me, if you're good at the games on this site, it's pretty easy to get gold. There's a newbie shop and everything inside is fantastic and super cheap! I'm actually in the process of buying matches for all the shirts I bought. Should only be a few more days until I've got all the gold I need!

You said your fiancee was the one really into anime, do you have a favorite show right now?

Yeah I haven't had much time to look through all the clothes and whatnot but that's what I'm doing next! Every time I have like an avatar to dress up I'm always conflicted on whether to make it look like me or just make it as cool as I want to be...I'm mean my hair doesn't really look like that but I wish it did!

As for shows I haven't watched a lot of anime but my fiance and I watched Rosario + Vampire which was good but I reaaaaally loved Fairy Tail. And when it comes to non-anime shows my Netflix list is out of control. I'm currently watching Merlin but I just finished watching allllll of Degrassi including the old original series. Besides that I'll watch pretty much anything.

Ruffle panties!! My favorite!! I probably would never wear pants if I didn't have to...
