Ah yes, the days of studying... (is so glad I'm done with school at the moment)

I don't want my school to end [:D] I'm now on the process of school hunting and have applied to two schools. What I'm worried about is if I don't get the application for either of the schools, where would I go to? O.0 and I'm freakingly nervous about going to a new school, it gives me tummy aches >_<

Going to a new school was one of the best decisions I ever made. I didn't realise it at the time, but after a while I started seeing the positive side of my new school. All you have to do be yourself, be optimistic and be positive [boogie]

Aww, just about to graduate high school huh? I had a weird way of looking at schools, I didn't think it mattered which one I went to, since I'd make my own way no matter where I went. I kind of wish I did go to a university, I would've at least have a bachelors degree by now rather than just an associates. On the other hand, I'm glad that right now I have a good paying job and no debt.

I went to community college, and attended a technical school for my current job (X-ray technologist). Even though I graduated 5 years ago, I feel like I should have accomplished more (degree wise), but I'm still thankful I've come this far in that 5 years.

Have any ideas of what you want to study while in school?

I've been studying at the same school for 11 years, and speaking a dialect common in our area, but now once I go to the new school I'm going to find people from other religion, and then also those who speak a different language which I have a hard time understanding at all [cry] and I'm worried about bullying and teasing too, and I'm such a weak person >.< my school is ending because I want to take Biological science as my subject for year 12 and 13, and my school is private and it doesn't offer this stream =(

Lexadis, you'll do just fine! No matter where you go you'll always have fears, but your courage will always get you through it! I know you'll study hard, and learning the language will be much easier once you make friends. Dedication and hard work will get you through it. You can do it! :D

Are either of the schools anywhere near family? I know it's a different region, but do you know anyone there? And I do understand about the move to a different culture with the added bonus of potential bullying. You will likely find others who are not different from yourself with similar or the same beliefs. [heart]

I.. Don't think I know anyone there, Elmira. But I might see similar faces, because I go to classes on that region. But I've never spoken to anyone, as I sit with my own group of friends. But school will be a different matter, because some are not qualified enough to enter the school, while some seek for other schools. And the fact is I wouldn't so mind if it is only another language but I'm not really good with speaking English either [gonk] how would I ever communicate? [cry] Maybe I'll be the kind of girl who'll sit at the corner and wait all day [ninja]

Technically I don't live in the country anymore, but at my high school we used to have days where the seniors would ride their tractors to school. We'd have like half a dozen tractors in the parking lot on those days [lol]

I went to an amusement park today (let's just say it is the only amusement park that has scary rides) and there was this one ride where this things rotated us in circles and circles, and the seatbelt was weak and there were no safety bars or anything, we were just inside a cage like things. And then when it started rotating my sister started falling onto me, and now I have nasty bruises on my arm and it is.. very painful [XD] But all in all it was fun! [:D]

And tomorrow we are planning to go rafting (which it seems is going to be cancelled) or to a place where there are loads and loads of elephants (more probability here) [boogie] Let's see [:D]

It's been a while since I've been to an amusement park. Though, I remember going on one that took you upside down and my throat was sore the next day from all the screaming [XD]

WHy is rafting going to be cancelled? That's not nice [sosad]

When you look at them they seemed crazy, suspending you in midair with your head being turned perpendicular to the ground, but they weren't much scary [ninja] One girl and an aunt was crying though and it somehow made me laugh [rofl] I know it's bad but... they weren't going to die or anything [ninja]

That's because.. it's like 1 or 2 days after the new year, and there are many many people that it is almost impossible to go on rafting [:(] I was looking forward to it too [sosad] I have never gone rafting before and I was so excited because this was going to be my first time [gonk] Maybe some other time [boogie]

I've been on raft rides, though I have an extreme fear of drowning in water so I'm scared the entire time. I can swim, I just don't think I'll ever do it in the ocean or anything deeper than a pool without floaties xD
