Right now I'm working on Wildstar, Plague Inc, Long Live the Queen and Pokemon Y (though the last one's taken a bit of a back seat lately because I got my dex filled and haven't had much I wanted to do)... I will play pretty much anything once though, including oldschool pen and paper stuff.

Me too. I do much better with words than sketches these days... I used to be alright when I was in high school; I've sort of let my art skills atrophy though.

Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, but they never take into account what sort of words... most of the words I use when trying to draw are about four letters long...

Let's see, I can use a handful of words to create many pictures, or draw a picture that leaves everyone speechless at its sheer lack of skill in execution, so the old saying is kind of exploded, anyway.

Hmm, I guess it's all relative.

Another health-care worker! Do you work at a hospital or another type of health facility?

I'm an overnight supervisor at a combination long term care/rehab from surgery facility. :3

Wow, that sounds like a fulfilling job. At least it's just a little quieter at night as well (hopefully) ^_^

Sometimes! Depends on the residents and how much they've slept during the day. Some of them have sundowner syndrome pretty bad, so their dementias act up more at night because they're all more confused. If I'm lucky, they sleep through it! :D

I was in a sort of care facility (psychiatric, not elderly), and I truly feel sorry for the people there that had to deal with me...

I mean, yeah, I wasn't entirely responsible for myself, or I'd not have been there, but looking back, I do regret making it hell for them.

More than one of them was making it hell for me though, so at the time it all seemed fair, but I know I let a few bad apples ruin the barrel for far too long, and probably could have dealt with it all in a less hurtful manner.

You get +4 respect from me for the nature of your work, and just know that someone appreciates what you do, and recognizes what you have to deal with.

Aw, thanks Vera! It's always nice to get a little love. The job can be rough, but it always feels like it's worth it in the end. :D

I hope you're doing okay now, too. Mental health stuff is never easy to deal with, and having unpleasant 'caregivers' always makes it worse.

Well, you know what they say, that's what continuing therapy is for, right?
