You can do crazy stuff with sand. There was one year where they did giant sand castles in the mall. Since you know don't have snow, only sand.

Haha yeah I wouldn't chance going in the water either!

Ooo! 8D

Alright, I'm off to shower and probably sleep. \o *waves* It was nice meeting you!

Merfluff 07-29-2014 07:42 AM

No snow here either. We should sleep too *waves* Night! It was nice meeting you too!

Hello all, I see you've both gone to bed though. Thought I'd drop in a message, being new myself. Welcome to Mene, a place of wonder, beauty and vegetables :) Your surely going to meet some amazing people, and with a family member already on the site I'm sure you'll be able to navigate throughout the site like nothing. I, myslef, was lucky enough to have a friend already on the cite and was able to learn off him, he is my master :D

What do you mean 'a fellow west coaster'? I'm a bit confused now :O

VeraDark 07-29-2014 09:22 PM

I thought the west coast fell into the Adriatic back in the 1200's, or something...

Oh wait, that was another reality and timeline! My bad!

The Wandering Poet 07-29-2014 09:30 PM

They were talking about California [yes]

Pumpkin Queen 07-29-2014 09:31 PM

Pumpkin Queen 07-29-2014 10:51 PM

Learning together, that would be the easiest way to find your way around the site. If you have any questions at all just drop me a message, I'm pretty much flying around this place now on my magical pumpkin :P

Merfluff 07-29-2014 10:53 PM

Merfluff 07-29-2014 11:22 PM

XD Cool, never met an Aussie before. YOU ARE NOW ON AN AMERICAN COMPUTER!!! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE??

Pumpkin Queen 07-29-2014 11:27 PM

ARGH! The graviational pull towards America :D haha. I wanna talk with someone from America so I can listen to there accent. And they can listen to mine, if I have one, I presume I do. Haha :D I just love an accent, espeically British.

Merfluff 07-29-2014 11:30 PM

It's weird hearing accents, especially since you never really realize you have one too. Speaking of British accents, one time my sister watched Doctor Who for three hours straight, and when she finally spoke, she had an accent she couldn't get rid of until the next day XD It was pretty funny

The Wandering Poet 07-29-2014 11:33 PM

I've found I don't really have an accent very long except for in English. When learning a new language I tend to treat the accent as part of the word itself and learn that too...

Merfluff 07-29-2014 11:41 PM

I've never really thought about my own accent, seeing as its hard to detect, being used to it and all

Pumpkin Queen 07-29-2014 11:49 PM

yeah, you just sound normal to yourself, although when talking with someone with an accent it is so noticeable!

The Wandering Poet 07-29-2014 11:56 PM

Have an aussie friend that said I had a heavy accept for English once... but her accent was really heavy... I speak relatively clearly when I'm not mumbling and I have a lack of slang in my vocabulary.
but then I always try for the dictionary pronunciations of things... but that may be partly to do with being a poet. The way a word is said is very important

Merfluff 07-29-2014 11:59 PM

That's pretty cool! I've never thought about that before

Pumpkin Queen 07-30-2014 12:02 AM

True, do you guys enjoy living in America ?
