Intros & Apologies, Oh My! xP
 

Egads, it's been years, hasn't it? Some of you may remember me, though I expect that most of you will not. So here's a bit of an intro.

I'm Seridano or Seri, if you prefer. I was on Mene for a handful of years a long while back, I poked things, attempted to draw things, and did a brief stint as a moderator and occasional pixelist (okay, I mostly had ideas that never quite got implemented but erm...they existed and a few of em appeared during events...mostly sweaters and capes and other fuzzy things...so there's that...) right before a series of major upheavals more or less took control of my life and sent me backward, upside down, and topsy turvy. It was not grand.

Consider this my mostly quiet but still glorious-ish return to the Mene Madhouse and an apology for my long absence.

At this juncture, I plan on bopping about for a while, re-kindling old friendships (because you guys really are a rad bunch), and re-familiarizing myself with the community that once felt like a second home to see if there's still some strange little blanket fort-esque niche for me to crawl into.

SERI! i most certainly remember you and welcome back to the fold! i hope you have had a chance to check out some of the new threads and what not. also there are some great new users since you left, i hope you get to know lots of them too! glad to see you back! [yes]

Linnea, I'm so glad you're still wandering about these parts! (and I'm definitely looking forward to meeting all of the folks who have taken up residence in Mene during my absence).

oh but of course i am still here [lol] it seems i am a bit of a lifer. you've come back at a good time though, with the event starting soon and all. there is also a user event after that, so yea, good timing! i always thought those were the best times to meet/make friends!

Agreed! Wish I had a few things to toss your way for the event. Alas, I've decided to reintegrate myself properly (and deal with my move back to Boston) before jumping back into the pool.

oh i'm not a part of the user event, but if you wanted to help out, even without donating items or much time, there is a planning thread somewhere.
