I found doing art for items back in the day really helpful for questing old hard to get items. Gives you an edge on other members. People love getting art of their characters or avatars. :)

It's when our user's get together and host a themed party (for lack of better terms). The thread where they're planing it is in the "Meneverse" http://www.menewsha.com/forum/commun...ng-thread.html

It's actually kinda hard to explain without participating in one. Have you ever been on an avatar site before?

i'm one who gets distracted easily, too.
if you need someone to see your post you can use a 'ping'
it's a feature of mene's and a really good one I think.
just use the @ symbol and the full person's name followed by a ;
@membername; and they will get a private message saying
'someone is talking about them' follow this link to find out about it.
feel free to try it out on me if you want.

I'm glad everyone seems to be nice, I'm not sure how to get started in this site haha.
I have a bit of a anxiety problem so I'm going to do my best to get in here and make friends! ;v;

everyone feels that way at first.
i'm sure you will feel right at home soon.
I guess if you are an artist you could check out the art forum.
it's rather slow at the moment but we have lovely artists here.
or the hangouts and role play forums are usually active.
we also have games, both arcade and a forum.
the game forum you don't have to 'converse'
you can just play/post and go to the next.
it's a great way to earn goldies =3
but really anywhere you want to chat people will welcome you.

This is really awesome XD I may be a bit biased because purple is my favorite color. I would definitely spend 1k-2k on art like this (of course when I have that much)
