Haha xD Okay well.. I walk to school like any normal day get to the front door... It's locked.. This was at 11:15 and my class starts at 11:11 I was like.. I'm not THAt late... O.o;;

Then this girl pops her head out of the window and says "It lock down, get in."

Now... I'm on my finnal year of high school and some how I have missed EVERY lock down drill in history. So you know me "Sweet! Lock Down Drill xD"

So you know I get in there, take the time to sign in at out very windowed office and walk off to home room happly.

ok...What is a lock down drill and why do we like them?

So I get to my home room (Its actually the giant multipurpose room as I happen to get the pervet-look-down-your-shit gym teacher and as the just put a fitness room in our old room.. we're now in the multipurpose xD Anyway.

So my friend Tara is all ready there and shes like SODA!! (changed name lol) Here's Tara hiding in the stacked chairs at the back. Her one comment "Haha You're all going to get shot!" Me : "Its just a drill" >_>

So the pervert yells at Tara for hiding in the chairs and theres an announcement..

D: Sorry! I don't know. ^^" I've been writing lots and lots of essays, and my eyes hurt from staring at the white computer screen. >~<


But I guess I must be addicted since I don't really want to get off. ^^"

Oh haha sorry lock down drill is called when some one threatens to bomd the school, sniper... ect ect. xD

So the principle comes on "Okay everyone this was a semi-Drill" Everyone was like WTF at this point, "We had scheduled a Lock Down today however it seems there has been a threat made to the school. We are taking precautions. Stay away from the windows and outside doors. ALL doors will be locked for the rest of the day.

So now everyone is edgy as none of the teachers know what is going on and people are thinking there a bomb, a shooter, or my personal favorite. A sniper.

Yeah...this whiteness is harsh. I wanna turn the brightness of the screen down but I can't...Man it feels like I have a hangover but I've not had a drop!

Why is soda being drilled about getting shot?

• Oh! Lock-Down drills. Gosh, I haven't had those is such a long time... since high-school! Wow, that's a long time for me.

Lock-down is a drill where you lock the doors and hide away from windows.
It's practice for the procedure for when an unauthorized/dangerous person enters a school.
I like them because they interupt class.

So end of my ELA the principle comes on again and is like "We've decided to unlock the doors for lunch. you MUST be back before 1:15

So then theres me like "Yay I still have my spare. I went out a side door, checking of anyone and anything and dashed home. When I got there "Well I'm glad I didn't get shot on my way home -.-" Of course my mom questions... Eventually it was math class. And this friend named Amber who sits in front of me is listening to the whole class talk about the lock down today and Tara and I went off with the sniper theory. xD





finally she speaks up "Guys! Geeze it was a girl breaking a restraining order. Thats it!"



Groan. There goes the intensity of the day x3 Haha she could have told us all earlier.. like 5 hours earlier xD As another of my friends Boycotted school for fear of being shot xD xD xD Lawls yup.

Edit xD I must say lol. I mean how many days do you seriously think you're going to be shot at school. haha not many xD Damn that ending. I was with out reason disappointed ;)

Angel doesn't have a leaflet! These things don't happen in England! People don't attack our schools! They're safe. People shoot you outside the school, but NEVER inside...

Angel ^^; I was scared out of my mind *_* and for the record I live about 30000 kilometers or more from such cities. I is snack dab in the middle of canada lol. Very far away from Vancouver and Toronto ;P

Lawlz. Lock downs drills are fun, but the real thing is pretty freaky. I don't know about my new school, but I remember at my old school if someone got on the loud speaker and said something like "Calling Mr.Bluegreen to the office, Calling Mr. Bluegreen" then the teachers were supposed to lock the doors and have us get under the desks. ^^"

I can't believe you guys drill for this! We drill for fires! Getting shot/bombs? In a school? *sits in disbelief* I love England. Our crime is a lot better than over the waters. Trinny still can't understand how safe it is here...

Haha fyi about the whiteness.. xD I dont mind the whiteness but lets just say I have this '90 monitor and I have to copy and past your words onto notebook too see xD my eyes strain T_T stupid spare computer.

*shrugs* I live near Los Angeles, which is pretty dangerous place, I guess... My community is generally safe, but we do the drills just in case- We've never had to do it because of a gunman of a bomb, but you never know what could happen.

Though, some kids make a joke out of fire drills by pulling the alarms to get out of taking tests. ^^"

I think America is a wacked out country. If it wasn't for the fact that Holland has too much drugs and prositution for my taste, I'd get a full citizenship there when I turn eighteen. ^^"

Amsterdam is in Holland isn't it...? You know they DO have a lot of prostetution, but even the streetwalkers are protected. There are set areas for it and she get's in the car and they have to drive to like a parking lot with a wall against the drivers door so if anything happens she has a headstart on running and CAN go to a police officer, unlike most other places. Whilst I don't like prostetution I know it will always exist and I think they have a wonderful way of dealing with it.
