Lol I had to write a 10 page paper in college based on anthropological field work of culturally based businesses. And my partner and I discovered that most chinese food restaurants in America are not actually run by Chinese families but Koreans and Vietnamese because their own ethnic food does not sell as well in the United States so instead they rely on the popularity of Chinese food to supplement their income. XD

Me too, I should figure out my dinner plans. I'm alone again tonight since dad has a union meeting after work.

Hehe well the vietnamese have quite a spiffy resturante across from the chinese takeaway and the chinese resturante and it's always pretty full here. London road is the only place I've ever seen one though! There's a korean shop too but it's more of a shop than a takeaway resturante, but it sells korean food :P

It's hard to get authentic stuff out here where it isn't expensive. The best place for me is to head into the city but I usually don't go unless I'm already going to be there. Haven't had a cheesesteak in awhile either :lol:

Well I shop at a chinese supermarket because I can't read chinese and it's an adventure finding stuff :P I like next to the city center. Come out of the city on London, road, turn onto abydale road and I'm like there on one of the iddy biddy backstreets. but not even the chinese man can find my house after I TOLD him where it was! so Angel is ok saying this :P

Lol yeah Chinese markets can be so confusing. I was trying to find a certain kind of tea but when I was trying to ask the guy about it he just kept shaking his head at me. I felt like a total dumbass trying to mimic how the flower opens up in the hot water because I wanted to make sure it was the flower bulbs in the tin and not regular teabags. XDDDD

Ask them what theyre questing for
Ask them What they are cofused about
Ask them if they know the rules.
