  • Last night was hectic, loss of power while I was trying to post and stuff, and it rained and made all the snow icey hard and dangerous.

And we lost water last night, which sucked, my bottle of water didn't last long, haha.

Anyways, things are fine now, I'm here today.

I am a major blog girl. ^^
Yes, I'm a blogger.

Though, I haven't been writing as much as I used to, which was everyday, because I don't have time. College is kicking my butt with textbook-money issues for the next semester and I just started my second job. >.<

Next semester should be quite interesting. XD

  • For me, if there is anything people need to know about my day, I will tell them face to face, if they ask.

So I don't have the use for a journal.
I mean, on Gaia my journal is just filled with funny stuff that happened to me, or by me.

Usually because of idiots on Gaia/AIM, whatever else there is that idiots will talk to me through.

However, what if you want to look back and see what happened to you in your life? You can keep it as a record. :3

Or what about venting? Some people use it to vent or express things in writing that can not be said aloud. It's like talking to yourself via blog instead of looking dumb speaking to yourself in a crowd.

Though, I do that anyway. XD

What's a recent funny experience for you, Mr. Rad?

  • I don't need to keep a record of what's happened in my life, it's terrible and I have short/long term memory loss for a reason.

    I don't vent, I build it up.
    Then explode.
    'nuff said.

And recent funny things? I can't remember right now.
Probably something, but I don't know.

Wait -- what's terrible? Your life or your memory? I'm confused on the first sentence. XD Dang..

Building it up isn't good for your system.
Both physically and emotionally.
It's better to let it out instead of keeping it inside.
Haven't you heard -- "Better out than in."

Channel the funny, channel the funny.
Chant this to yourself. =P

  • Both, my life and memory are both terrible.

And I don't have anything to vent, unlike most guys, I'm a listener. xD

    And nothing funny yet.

I've heard some terrible stories about people's lives, so I don't think it's that bad. What's really that bad? At least, you're alive. I don't know your life, so I can't make judgments.

But I listened to this man yesterday talk about himself, and he said the most horrific things about his life. From having reconstructive surgery from being mugged to having his house flooded by Hurricane Katrina to having to work 10 hour shifts just to TRY and afford a car.

Really, it could be a lot worse.

A lot of guys are major talkers though. However, I will agree that men tend to bottle rather than voice their opinions. It's good to listen, but it's also good to take the floor. (: It helps with self happiness and growth.

  • Oh I'm sure my life isn't that terrible, when you put it up against that kinda person haha.
But I really don't have anything going for me, I live in the middle of nowhere, no friends, no transportation, no job, nothing out here except my family and internet. (God forbid I lose the internet for any length of time, haha.)

And I don't have anything to vent really, I'm a listener, because that's what I do.

That's good. I just assumed because you said you tend to build up your stress that you already have some bottled already.

Middle of nowhere? Do you live in the United States? I don't think I ever asked where you lived before. Strange.

I doubt you don't have anything going for you. Do you have a job? Do you talk with others and network? Are you saving up for anything important?

&& if you answer all those questions, I'm sure that post will get you around 20gold.

  • Unless I just say no to all of the above, then it won't grant me much gold haha.

Yeah, I don't have stress built up, there isn't anything to stress me out...totally relaxed, more so than anything.
It's just my bed that sucks, haha.

Middle of nowhere, British Columbia Canada.
Little town called Deroche, it's got literally NOTHING, to do...and nobody my age group (Or remotely close) in the area.

    No job, nothing.
Saving up? I get $60 everything third month, that's not a lot of money over a year...If I wanted to save up for something, it'd take me quite a long time.
Especially since anything I actually want is at least a few hundred dollars, all the way up to a good $1,500 (Rickenbacker bass guitar, mmm. <3)

Hmmm, then I say get a job, you bum. =P Hex, you can have one of mine if you want. I'm sure they've at least got places where you can find a decent paying position. What is the minimum wage up there?

You're in your twenties though, right? So, no need to worry about the parents in your home (I assume again). Why not move somewhere else where you can be happier?

  • I'd love to get a job, but as is there is literally nothing out here for me to do.
And as long as I don't have money, no moving out of my parents place and into a place decent enough to have a job I can get.

And being that I never went to high school, I still need to get a GED. x_x

If you don't mind me asking since I know this is a personal and private issue, why didn't you go to high school? I'm sure they at least have schools in your little hick town.

  • Well it wasn't about not having a school to go to, but more or less my mental state being destroyed by elementary school and then my mom not putting up with it anymore, pulled me.
Then we tried home schooling until realizing it wasn't even worth a penny the way the system worked out.

So then I just stopped doing school work.
Quit it all, now I have the life that people want, but the life that I hate.

Sit in my room, play video games, eat, sleep, repeat.

It sounds like you need a drastic change in your life to me. However, that requires motivation and work. You don't like it, so it needs to be changed for your happiness. If it doesn't make you happy, then it's not the life that YOU want, regardless of what anyone else might want for you. Put it this: SCREW THEM. (:

  • Hey I'd like to get a move on with my life, but as is I'm stuck where I am, in a hole with no way out.
I need that help from someone so I can move somewhere, get a job, learn to drive, etc.

I wish I had friends in a city or, at least a larger town with a population not consisting of pot-smokers, pedophiles, and farmers...I know, the farmers aren't bad, but there are a lot of them!

But alas, no friends in any towns that could put up with me.

*finished writing her journal and checking her regular threads out*

Angel keeps a journal for people to keep track of things. She hates repeatedly typing out the same thing and a lot of people have asked about the two big things in Angels life (The double murder and her new place) so it's best to just keep it all in journals and just tell people to go there.

@ Rad --
Stuck in a hole is right. I could help you out, if you want. I don't know how, but I could try. (: I'm a city gal, living in Las Vegas, the City of Sin.

I have a lot of family folk living in Minnesota (who are farmers, professors, and hard-working people), which is near you. I'll probably be up there around summer time because my brother graduates this year.

  • See some people actually have a reason and motivation for a Journal, while others don't have anything going on in their life (Online or offline.) and don't require that, like me. xD
