Hello I'm Back! I've been watching movies- Like Disney Sleeping Beauty!

LovelyHeather 12-08-2007 07:34 AM

Alright, dear. <3
We will chat away tomorrow tonight perhaps. (:

MessyArtist 12-08-2007 07:38 AM

Heather are you going too??
:(

LovelyHeather 12-08-2007 07:47 AM

No, I'm still here.
Sorry for the late reply.
Talking to my boyfriend while he was on his break at work.

I have an issue with Disney taking fairy tales and twisting them in order to appeal to a younger audience. Like Sleeping Beauty. You should look up the original tale.

The Grimm version of it is... graphic, to say the least. That's under the name "Briar Rose". I think the first account of it is under the name, Sun, Moon, and Talia.

MessyArtist 12-08-2007 08:05 AM

Wow.
Anyways Can You Roleplay In My thread about hogwarst with me, PLEASE???

LovelyHeather 12-08-2007 08:15 AM

Though, what's funny is I have a shirt that displays Disney's Sleeping Beauty. XD I'm in love with fairytales.

Sorry though. I don't roleplay.
That makes it a bit harder for me to earn gold on here.
That's alright. ^^

MessyArtist 12-08-2007 08:20 AM

Oh. Ok...
I'm going to aim to look A BIT like Aurora. Just the Golden Hair. Not The Dress.
=3

  • Good afternoon everyone, I'm up late I know.
But my computer is having a hardware failure (I'm blaming the cold weather, but I don't know.) it's unknown as to what is failing, but something is causing my OS to not boot and giving me a blue screen of death, then restarting and trying again (Upon where it works.)

If it's RAM, easy, I can buy new RAM I know what I need, and hopefully buying it online would be easier now that I have Paypal, I just gotta get money into it.

If it's my CPU, Motherboard, PSU (Which is new) or Video card (Which is also new.) I'm screwed.

curlysue215 12-08-2007 10:29 PM

Evening poppet.

Ah the joy's of the computer. I recently had to invest in a computer all together.

Rad Lionheart 12-08-2007 10:30 PM

  • Yeah, if my whole computer, or an expensive component goes boom, I'm out of luck, for without a job, and only $200 this coming Christmas, I ain't gettin' no new parts. xD

The only thing I could afford, and planned on getting, was some new RAM.
That's why I hope it may only be my RAM not starting on boot up.

curlysue215 12-08-2007 10:33 PM

Ouch. Goodluck then poppet. Though I must admit there's quite a satisfaction throwing your computer out a window. Loan payments on the other hand can be quite a drag.

Rad Lionheart 12-08-2007 10:44 PM

  • I'd try to salvage as much as I can from my computer if it had a complete hardware failure, I'm sure something could be of use still.

And I'm really not one to toss anything out a window.

curlysue215 12-08-2007 10:48 PM

Well of course I took what was salvageable first. It just so happened I had a trash can outside my window from some serious cleaning an happened to throw random parts out it. xP

Rad Lionheart 12-08-2007 10:56 PM

  • Well if you enjoyed tossing out broken computer parts, good for you, I do whatever I can with broken stuff. xP

curlysue215 12-08-2007 11:10 PM

One of those whatever floats your boat things eh? xP

My dad's got like 12 computers taken apart in out office currently. You have to step over parts to get to the working computer.

Rad Lionheart 12-08-2007 11:18 PM

  • I wish I could just get a new computer all together, despite mine being good enough for my taste, it'd still be nice to have something more powerful for gaming.

curlysue215 12-08-2007 11:22 PM

That's the biggest reason I got a new computer. I needed Adobe an my computer woudn't even run one of their programs. So thus I took out a 3k loan an got the latest mac. xD I"m proud to say though I've got it halfway paid off already. ^^

Rad Lionheart 12-08-2007 11:23 PM

  • Cool, I hate Mac computers, but cool haha.
I'm a gamer though, and Mac's just aren't a gaming computer like they used to be back in the day of Marathon, haha.

curlysue215 12-08-2007 11:27 PM

True true. I was never truly fond of mac till I was using them 24/7 in my Digital media classes. I would have loved an alienware. But it seems that Adobe n mac are like peas an carrots. An it's just easier to do homework on the same system an not have to transfer.

Amo_Angelus 12-08-2007 11:28 PM

Oh fiddlesticks! Angel has lost her USB stick again. Sorry poppet. I shall pair you up by Monday at the latest. I think I left my USB at home *crosses fingers and hopes*

MessyArtist 12-08-2007 11:29 PM

Hmm...I hate Macs too. We had them in my old primary school- And The only good thing about them is the garage band.

curlysue215 12-08-2007 11:35 PM

*Flounces about for a random moment.*

I have yet to try Garage Band. I've grown more fond of how the system is set up more than anything else. It's much easier to have everthing you need when working on a project right there on the desktop than having to find it in a file. For me anyhow. I suppose my professor has had some influence on me turning to mac. xP

curlysue215 12-08-2007 11:37 PM

I must bid thee lovely poppets a good night. I must go find my power cord an get some supper on the stove. Was lovely meeting with all thee.

Rad Lionheart 12-08-2007 11:39 PM

  • Alienware is over priced garbage.
I would never want to buy an Alienware PC, if one was given to me, I'd sell it and get something better.
