yeah, lolis are essentially brand whores. I have to admit I am a bit of one myself but I am a bit of a fatty-chan lolita . (not everyone is given a 24 inch waist..righ?)I think they look down on ebay because they ripoff actual brands and steal from other websites like most of the cosplays.There are a few "respected" ebay sellers like tssy2005. Anna House is also HK brand thats pretty cheap but a great quality. Sorry for the tangent. Essentially, elitists exist everywhere.

None in particular, mostly just found this place through a link someone posted on a forum. I have been on Gaia and Zantarni before though. (Didn't especially agree with either of them.) ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE WITH ANYTHING AND WHAT? Besides the huge amount of capital letters, not too bad, it'd just be nice to have a good general feel for the forum so that if I break something I can be helped (I'm so hopeless lol I'm probably going to screw up big time within the next two minutes.) |
Psh, I've never payed for a brand name in my life and I will probably never do in the future! Mine is hand made, tailored to fit by a very respected ebayer. They can neddy telling me it's lower quality just because it's ebay, then they tried to tell me it wasn't actually loli but looked like a costume. I've been wearing loli for 2...3...years now and they just really annoyed me, so I went to vampirefreaks and was met with better reactions. So sue me if I like sissy dress!

But besides the whole loli vs cosplay debate, I think the pic quality makes the construction of the dress look below par. I never liked the leaning mannequin. I can only afford brands 2nd hand or buying lucky packs. I like the design of the dress. I love pink and ruffles. Check this site out. prices are in HKD and they ship overseas. I agree, leaning manaquins are evil for promoting items. But I've seen her other stuff on actual people and it looks a lot better. I buy second hand or custom made stuff it's a lot cheaper than buying brand stuff. I cut labels out so I refuse to pay for them :P
Such a pretty site -makes Angel eyes at the clothes- I bought two dresses this month though so I'll have to remember the site URL when I'm at home to have a decent look through later :P Thank you :) I love my pink and white dress it's possably my favourite colour scheame. My second dress isn't nearly half as pretty though. And the photo doesn't do it justice either. I don't wear loli....I think it's interesting but I never put myself out like that in public. I like to blend in. ^^;

Hong Kong Dollars. So just look up a currency converter and you are on your way spending more money. YAY! I think my big peeve with ebay sellers is the quality of lace they use. Cheap lace can kill a dress like in your second dress. I would of preferred if they just used white fabric ruffles and just plain white crosses.

I do loli and medieval a LOT! They're my fave styles. But I put myself out there to be noticed a lot as I used to do drama and now I model so I don't mind the attention I'm used to it so I'll where what I like whilst I can before they have me in aweful things or I'm too old!
