Staff Sergeant Christoph Kampmann, Reporting for duties.

My name is Christoph Kampmann. I currently have migrated from Gaia Online (Can you believe it. They banned me for "Trolling". All I did was support the ROTC program in High Schools. I called this one male user a "Light-hearted Liberal". I guess Gaia doesn't like Rhymes.)

After seeing Gaia too immature for me, I have moved on to Zantarni. I was also banned their for "Trolling".

Anyway.
More about me.

I am an Honorably Discharged Staff Sergeant in the United States Army.
How was I Discharged?

In my Second Tour of Iraq, a Skirmish ensued on the outskirts of Baghdad. We assumed Tactical formation, and grouped on the west side of a residential building (Unoccupied).
Light Arms fired ensued, followed by a few dozen rounds from AK-47s. We then decided to relocate our defencive position, and moved northward to another abandoned residential building.

The foreign forces took initiative and attempted to move forward, blind firing at us.
We were forced to occupy the building for cover.
Once we climbed the stairs, I went blank and woke up in the Landstuhl Medical Center located near the Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

Apparently what had happened, was a family of 3 were hiding inside the "closet" They heard us coming, and detonated explosive devices hidden in their garments.

Shrapnel hit me in my helmet (Lucky me) and in my left side, puncturing a lung.
A part of the wall landed on the stairs and crushed my right leg.

5 soldiers (3 corporals and 2 privates) were able to dispatch the opposing forces and call for immediate back-up and airlift for the wounded (Me, 2 sergeants and a Sergeant First Class (o.O))

Enough about Military. Lets talk about me. xP

I'm 29. Born on December 15th, 1977
I lived out most of my Childhood life in Germany, moving to America when I was twelve.

I love most types of music. Just tell me a band and I'll probably end up listening to them.

No American pop/j-pop/j-rock/anything light. AND NO COUNTRY. Dammit. This shit pisses me off x3

clothes... hmm...
I guess I wear clothes? I dunno. I don't care much about fashion.

That's me in a nutshe-... Short book.

If you have any further questions about me, I'd be glad to answer!

Sorry to hear you had to serve in Iraq.

Sounds harsh.

Well it's interesting that your 29, not a lot of people here are even close to that age.

Risque 11-25-2007 08:38 AM

Wow, interesting read.
Welcome to Mene, sir. xD
We can't guarantee that you won't get banned from here, but I hope you enjoy your time here until then. C:

The admins here aren't ban happy, so you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Gush 11-25-2007 08:43 AM

You won't get banned if you don't spam.

Nobody likes spam anyway.

:3

WHAT HAVE YOU GOT AGAINST COUNTRY MUSIC, PUNK? D<

xD

Hm...banned for trolling? It seems to me that you're just a zealot when it comes to the military. 0-0;

My stepdad is the manager of the Evasion division of a SERE school, and my mom works in Resistance - interrogation stuff. =D They both were in the Air Force at one time, too; my stepdad was sent to Afghanistan during his service, and he was also involved in Desert Storm and other cool things I know little to nothing about. >>;

I have little interest in joining the military - not fond of the idea of a punctured lung, or a punctured anything, for that matter - but it's cool to see someone so enthusiastic about what he does (did?).^^

Anywho...welcome to Mene! =D I hope you enjoy yourself here. <3

Kira Bella 11-25-2007 09:26 AM

Wonderful to have you, sir.

I am actualy on leave fromm a military program right now. It is more structured the ROTC, but it isn't an officer training program.

I will be going into the GOLD program soon, so I might actually be training as an officer when I finish this program. But if I do, I am hoping to stay on THIS contenant.

Mene is pretty open about their users, and they don't really expect a lot, besides intelligent conversation. Due to your age, I think that should not be a problem.

Feel free to contact me if you have any futher questions. If you need or want a place to talk and earn yourself some gold for clothing, you are more then welcome to stop by the link in my signature. I hide there a lot.

Hope to see you around more!

Jhaybz.01 11-25-2007 11:41 AM

I'm sorry to hear about that.
Anyways, Welcome to Menewsha!..
<333
I hope you enjoy your stay here.^-^

Country Music:
I live in Mississippi. EVERY ONE listens to it. And it's annoying D:

Zealot:
My father told me that there have been men of our in the military heading back over 300 years. Growing up around him, I would kill myself if I were any different.

Spam? D:
But I love my good dose of spam. And if it's not spam, it's posting hilarious pictures that could make you laugh till you piss yourself. I hope theres some sort of sub-forum for that.

@Kira Bella:
But what about going to South America?
In 1999, I went on my first official mission down there.
Basically, it was just tying up a few loose crack dealers, but it was fun afterwards.
South America is rich in cultural background. A must for everyone to go to once in their life.

And please, don't apologize (Say sorry).
To apologize is to ask forgiveness after doing something wrong. Did you do something wrong? No. So don't say sorry xP

Hey, we're right next to each other, then! =D I live in Alabama.

And not all country music is annoying, though I certainly have to admit that a lot of it is. >>; In my opinion, every genre has its good and bad songs. =3

But then, I feel that way about everything.^^;

There's nothing wrong with being a zealot, by the way. xD

  • Welcome to Mene! ^w^ I hope you enjoy yourself here.

    As for a forum where you can post funny pictures, I'm not sure that there is one, but if you wanted to post a picture and have a discussion about it you could maybe do that in the GD. :3

the war for now. Welcome to Menewsha
and hope you like it around here. :3

Amo_Angelus 11-27-2007 02:39 AM

Doesn't discharge translate to fired? Why'd they get rid of you? Call me sceptical but getting hit on the head doesnt sound like a reason to let you go... *shrugs*

Welcome to Mene. I've already seen you around, so I guess that counts you as not really new, but no one seems to be on so I'm replying to all the active newbie posts. HI!
