Hello to everyone out there,
I've really no idea what this place is about, and so I've decided to have a little look-see. It's pretty confusing at first, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. My name's Cat (a nickname, of course, but a fitting one) and I currently reside in La Florida, where it is most certainly not sunny all the time, no matter what those silly little commercials tell you.
I'm in High School at the moment, but I'd prefer not to tell you what grade I'm in, simply for privacy reasons. If you become my friend, though...Well, you never know what could happen, eh?
I have several hobbies. Probably the most prominent one is my horse and competition. I have a beautiful, 15.1hh, 14 year old liver chestnut Morgan gelding named Frosty and I train him in Dressage. If you'd like to know more about that, just ask. I'm a friendly person (though mildly sarcastic...). My other major hobby is drawing. I usually draw traditional realism with pencil, but I can draw pretty reasonable looking anime when the mood takes me. If I decide that I like this place, I might even sell some of it like they suggest. Other things I enjoy are playing the fiddle, piano (though not actively), writing (mostly fiction), reading (also fiction), and sleeping (oh joy.)
If you think I've rambled on enough, you most certainly are right. I have quite a bit of studying to do, so I think I'll leave you now. If anyone finds me remotely interesting (Hopefully I didn't bore you to tears, I promise you that was not my intent), then go ahead and reply. I'll be more than happy to say hullo.

I also love reading fiction books. Mostly books about magic intrigue me. :3 The Harry Potter series, Inkheart, and Inkspell are my favorite books so far. But I haven't finished Inkspell yet. D: I'm too excited for Inkdeath to come out. ((Quite a few 'Ink's, isn't it?)) The Ink Trilogy is by Cornelia Funke, by the way. It's quite interesting.

Oooh my sister is so jealous of you (Me too just not as much) we loves horses! I want a Shire, I think they're absolutly gorgeous and I forget what she wanted. it was 16hh though. We like them big.

Anywho. For Elektra:
Agh, I love the Inkheart series! I've been waiting for forever for Inkdeath, though I only just recently learned that it even existed. I had to run and look at her official site to get it for sure...But I'm so excited about it! She's an awesome author. I've read both Inkheart and Inkspell, though I think I should probably read them again before Inkdeath comes out so I haven't forgotten everything...
I also love the Harry Potter series. :3
Some other series I like include Maximum Ride, Faerie Wars, and The Golden Compass (though I'm not quite finished with the third of that one...).


And to Jayms:
Oh, believe me, I love the tall ones too! Shires are gorgeous, but I've always wanted a Percheron or Percheron cross myself. 16hh is a good height, though with my legs I could probably get up to 17hh and be comfortable. My little 15.2 Morgan fits me surprisingly well, though! It's not so much the size as the way they move and how well you work with them. :3 If you find a horse that is sweet and loving and works really well in what you want to do, forget about the size. Small horses give you less distance from their back to the ground. xD

And thank you to both of you for the welcome! I'll probably end up asking for help at one point...I get confused terribly easy at times...

Sadly, some sort of riding doesn't tell me much. xD Do you know if it was western or english? I ride English, myself...

I've never been to San Diego, but I'm not entirely sure what I thought of the weather over there...Thank you for the warning, though. xD

Welcome to menewsha! Wow, you can play the fiddle and piano! I don't know much about fiddles, I watched fiddler on the roof lol.

Hah, yeah. I've actually never seen that movie, now that I think of it...
Sadly, I don't play piano as much as I used to...High School has that affect on things you used to spend your time on...But I do still play fiddle!
Currently looking for a band, in fact...
Fiddle is basically the same as violin, but the style and type of music you play is different. Also, I tend to hold the fiddle a little differently than most violin players hold their instruments. :) Also, I play by ear. I haven't a clue how to read the music for violin.
