I suppose it's kinda obvious that I'm new, isn't it? Girlfriend asked me to join, which I have, and whenever I tried to use that descender game, but it seems to have trouble sending the information when I finish, and I'm still flat broke. So here I am now, amazing, isn't it?

Okay, that would explain why nothing would happen no longer how long I waited. I'll do my best to enjoy my time here. I love to chat on forums, but I keep getting too busy with classes lately to read much else.

It's posted in the Information Desk forum that descender doesn't award gold. A little message on the actual game would be nice though. It disappoints a lot of people. :[ I can definitely relate to the homework thing! A few people tell me that they have good luck with blackjack, but I generally avoid the gambling games. I only fish. |
Yeah, that would be nice. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to go into the program and change some of the text to note that...
Your classes love to pile it on, too, eh? My teachers love giving me ten or so page long papers to print off the internet. So I have to pay to print them, just to read them. Does fishing get you a decent profit, then? I was going to try it, but I saw how you need 25 gold, I think, to play it. |

I don't know the first thing about coding, but I agree that a little change like that shouldn't be too much.
We're in the process of switching the site to new software right now though so a couple little updates like that are being put on the back burner for now. xD Yeah. All of my friends think that I'm nuts for keeping a full course load during senior year. x_X You have to pay to print things off the internet?? Fishing takes several days of investment before you start turning a profit. Each bait costs 2 gold and you can buy 100 a day. After you reach around 400 exp, it's nothing but profit though. You're mad! Mad, I say! I did the same thing, though. I even took four A.P. classes so I could get a head start on college. You can do it, and you'll be glad you took real classes instead of the blow-off ones they're probably doing now. Well, I have to pay to print them off in the library. My laptop doesn't have a printer, so when I get to campus I print them off there for ten cents a page. Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to try it. I always liked fishing games, and any game that you gain experience in is great. A pleasure to meet the real you, Nescia. I probably wouldn't have even noticed the switch if you hadn't mentioned anything, though. ^_^; |

^^ Project Advance is just a program that my school has in conjunction with Syracuse University. It just means that I get college credit for that one specific class and get to hear lecturers from Syracuse occasionally. Haha! Hopefully they get it changed before I'm used to this style and end up attached to it. Ahhh, sounds like a nice program. College credit is always a nice bonus in a class, and the lecturers could probably help you get used to college that much sooner. What class are you in Project Advance for? Well, right now it's battling Piano Man for which can drive me insane first, so I'm not loving it so far. It is cute. It's just completely evil in it's mind-affecting ways. D= |

Exactly. If they do it quickly I won't have a chance to cry and moan about the evil administrators changing Mene and ruining it's current beauty. Because that's what I always do when my favorite sites change things around. You're right, though, it is quite a bit bright in here, I wouldn't mind a little shade. xD
Forensice Science? Sounds like an awesome class, I don't think my high school did anything like that. Or if they did, I just never saw it in the options. I should. I just have no idea what to listen to, and I'm watching the Colbert Report right now. xD The only big difference between male and female seem to be whether they have boxers or bras and panties. Alright, the body and face are slightly different, but it's hardly there. |
I always complain about layout changes, too.
I'm a creature of habit. :lol: I really like my forensics class. There are a lot of "hands on" type activities, too. We process a fake crime scene once a month and do little activities like taking our partners Bertillion measurements or fingerprinting them now and again. Most of my other courses seem to be nothing, but taking notes and writing essays so it's a nice change. Haha. The Colbert Report should distract you. I've only seen that show a few times, but I liked it. I just don't watch television very often. Yeah. I'm disappointed that a lot of the items are being unisexed now. I'm all for more options and I don't have any moral objections to cross dressers or anything. I just don't like having to squint at an avatar to see if it is male or female and male avatars wearing skirts and dresses make it hard to tell. >_< |
Habits are wonderful. You can put yourself on autopilot and just get things done without thinking. I do that all the time walking between classes.
It certainly is. All my classes this semester are almost entirely reading, writing, and taking exams. I was hoping for something more fun in Biotechnology. Yes, it's a great distraction. As is Futurama, which came on afterwards. I hardly ever watch television, but when I do, I get sucked in pretty easy. >_>; That could make things a bit tough. xD Of course, if a male dresses up in a skirt, you may as well just call him a her and get it over with, no? |
