Hi everyone! I just started Mene yesterday but I have been playing Gaia for a little over a year now. Mene seems strange compared to Gaia but I'm sure that I'll like it after I play for awhile. But I do like how not a lot of people use chatspeak and spam with the rules and all. Anyways, I'm a little lost here, and I would love if people could help me out a little bit with this.

If anyone would like to contact me on Gaia it's exactly the same as my Mene, Suuchi.

Mene is the same premise as Gaia, but like you said, no spam and it's mostly literate.

You can go to the same places like on Gaia - the GD, the shops... there are places to sell and buy art, and if you click GD-->Menewsha Nation, hangouts are there. ^^

it's nice to meet you. I origianly came from Gaia as well, I've been there since the fall of 2003, and I've been here since october.

Mene is a lot of fun, as long as you remember to stick with the rules. Spam, bumping, begging for items/gold is all against the rules. But i'm sure you already know that.

There are a lot of places similar to gaia, but it's that we take care of the forums and keep them nice and clean that make us diffrent. so please enjoy yourself and i hope you make a lot of new friends ^_^

Once you've read the Stickies at the top of each forum, you should have a pretty good idea on the differences between Gaia and Menewsha... Just think of Gaia as a huge metropolitan city and Menewsha as a small island town that actively tries to keep its small town feel in spite of its growing population... The comparisons are actually pretty accurate. XD;

Most of our members are either Gaian (or other avatar sites) refugees or dual-citizens - so you can make lots of new friends on Gaia by meeting people through Menewsha, if you're so inclined. XD

I came from gaia myself... was growing tired of all the mindless humping and like ilk... the design aspects of this game seem much more interesting than the mindless wanderings of the gaia crews, and as far as I've seen the moderators actually seem to be around... it's amazing, I don't think I've played a game with moderators active... well, except dsl-mud.org but that's a different system all together

Hello, I'm new here from gaia as well, some bastard had hacked my gaia account so I got tired of it and wanted to try something new.

I come from Gaia as well. In fact I only joined this site because someone on Gaia mentioned it. I'm ready and willing to give other sites a go, but maybe it's just because I've been on there longer, but Gaia will always be the one for me.
