I had heard of The Good Life but they haven't started showing it locally. *glares at local TV stations* So I should just stick with the earlier episodes? Another one I just thought of is The Vicar Of Dibly. Some really great characters in that show. Dawn French is so funny in that show. Have you seen it?

Sorry you don't get to watch too much anime or manga lately. If you have agroup of friends who all enjoy it you could always do sort of what my friends do. We buy a couple anime or manga together and pass them around. assuming money is the issue. It works for us. :D
But I think I will try to pick up the first issue of DNAngel this weekend. I have a couple bucks left of my gift certificate to the local book store. Thanks.

My Sensei Aya, who is very talented in japanese brush work caligraphy and sumi-e. Some day I hope to be as good as she is. :oops:

I would never curse you Ashlemo. But I will take our advice and check it out first. Just to make sure. Plus the book store I go to is pretty lenient about letting people check books out before buying them. :D Which I think is a great thing. I wish there were some easy ways to do that with Anime.
I'm kinda surprised how quick I've made friends here. This is certianly better then most sites I've seen. I think I'll stay here forever.

Yeah, anime is always a risk. What some people like doesn't always catch anther's fancy. I've never been able to get into FMA, no matter how many times I've tried for the sakes of people who insist it's good. Meh.

And I too have heard good things about FMA. though only good things which in it self is a good. thing. But I too haven't watched it. I have a friend I'm thinking of borrowing it from.
And Hellsing? Helsing was great. I haven't seen the second series but I loved the first series. Alucard was great! And that gun! Walter rocks with those wire things. And what can I say about Seras. Besides she has a big gun. But it was a very good series and the end battle was something else. :D

Actually I like walks on the beach too. Usually right down near the water. Collect great shells that way. And listen to the waves roll in. Assuming the beach isn't too crowded. But I digress.

Yeah, the American remake wasn't that great. Which is unfortunate. But the Japanese version was one scary movie. And I loved the ending. But I always wondered. If someone was willing to sacrifice their own life and destroyed the tape before they died, would that end that end of the curse? Just something to think about.
