Fresh Meat???

As I sit here trying to figure out what to type here for my first post on Menewsha I realize something. I am mostly naked posting in an area called Fresh Meat. I'm not sure if I should be afraid or not. :wink:
"Hey you with the BBQ sauce and the fork quit looking at me like that."
Anyeeeeway, I like anime, SF, fantasy, good conversations, great food(!!), funny stuff, long walks in the rain and puppies.
Okay that just sounded like a really bad dating service intro. *groan* Most of that is true though. You'll just have to get to know me to find out which is which.
Oh one other thing. I love Spam! Not the bad stuff that makes modeators cringe. The luncheon meat. (to which some people are not seeing a difference) If you have any interesting Spam uses or stories let me know.
I'm here every night. Try the vegetarian veal and don't forget to tip your waitress.
Mr. Bun signing off.

Welcome to Menewsha, Mr Bun!

I like rain, good conversations, food, and anime! What a great start, eh? ...Oh! And puppies, too! :3

Hey... is it alright if I call you Bunny? xD

Nightgaunt 04-07-2008 09:32 PM

Oh No! Monty Python is invading Menewsha! :shock:
Welcome aboard, Bun. Stick around, talk a bit and we'll get you un-nekid (or sporked) in no time.

;D Since we've already talked I know you've read the rules. Have fun!

MurasakiCrown 04-07-2008 09:53 PM

Oh, I've never had any experience with REAL Spam, so I've had no interesting encounters.

By the way, your pixels look Yummy >w<

Hi Ashlemo, thak you. It looks like a cool place. I don't see why you can't call me Bunny. Just don't tell anyone else. We don't want it getting out. :wink:
thunder storms are good too. Though I don't like walking in them. still trying to straighten my hair after the last one.
Just out of curiosity, what was the first Anime you ever watched? I always like to see what people's first experience with anime was.
Mine was Mazinkaiser when it was being shown in the US as Tranzor-Z. After that is Robotech then Vampire Hunter D. Not an auspiscious start but I was hooked. How about you?

Nightgaunt!!! *Glomp*
Is it legal to Glomp a moderator? Too Late, I already did. :wink:
And yes, Monty Python has come to Menewsha, long may it reign. Although I promise to keep the Lousy Vikings in check. They do love to sing though.

Clothing Here we come!

And care to answer my question about what your first anime was?

Secret 04-08-2008 12:19 AM

*snarls at Nightgaunt*
LoL. Just kidding. <3

Welcome to Menewsha! Seems like you're quite the social butterfly. Watch out for PlatinumChild. She tried to eat a nubcake a few days ago.

Allura Minelle 04-08-2008 12:25 AM

Welcome to menewsha. :3

I hope you enjoy it here.

Arkeyla 04-08-2008 12:27 AM

Welcome! Sorry, we can't supply you with shrubbery. As to your question, I have only really been into anime for a few years - sad that I only found it late in life (okay, there's an exaggeration). The first one I saw was Tokyo 2040: Bubblegum Crisis (or something like that, it was years ago and I can't be expected to remember the title exactly).

Hi PlatinumChild
Ah real spam, it's a wonderful thing. But I shant sing here. Nor will the Vikings.
Uhm, I'm glad you like my pixels. :oops: Scarey thing is they look a lot like the real me.
Any suggestions on Forums I should check out?

@Secret-
Nightgaunt is an old friend. Had to glomp her. But I am an equal opprotunity glomper. *Glomps Secret*
Thank you for your welcome. Social Butterfly...me? Maybe a little. Very Happy
Platinum Child you say? Nubcake? Now I seriously need to get some clothes on. Wink
Looks like I am gonna have a lot of fun here. Thanks for making me welcome.
Free Spam for everyone!

@Allura Minelle-

Hi Allura,
I think I will enjoy it here. Stop by this thread and say hi anytime.

@Arkeyla-
Hi Arkeyla,
That's okay, I have enough Shubbery. I got them from these Knights that say Ni. Do I have a fellow Monty Python Fan on my hands? Very Happy I love the Python boys. I can't decide between the Holy Grail or Life of Brian being my favorite movie. Any opinion on your side?
And I have seen Tokyo2040: Bubblegum crisis. It's a really good remake of the Original Bubbble gum Crisis and Bubble Gum Crash. Which was the series I watched right after Vampire Hunter and I still love to this day. The sound track to the original is incredible!! Konyo ko no Hurricane is a rocking song. If you can find it I strongly suggest you pick it up. One of the best anime sound tracks ever.
And now that my inner fan boy is done ranting I shll take my leave of you all for the night. Til we meet again.
yours
Mr Bun

Oh, you're quite the personable one, aren't you? ^_^
Anyway, thunderstorms are incredibly relaxing to me (but not to the rest of my state, unfortunately, due to all the tornadoes), and I love to watch them. Walk in them? nothxbai, I'd rather sleep. xD
Hm. My first anime of all time? Dragonball Z. Can't forget that, no sir.
When I knew what anime was? Chobits. Either that or DNAngel. :3
Then I got really obsessive with InuYasha, which soon after digressed when I realized how repetitive it had become.

Arkeyla 04-08-2008 01:37 AM

Hmm. I would probably say that Holy Grail would be my personal favourite, though at strange times I do find myself breaking out into 'Always Look on the Bright Side' with a really bad accent... yeah, I'm a fan. I love English comedy in all forms, and the Python gang are so wonderfully quirky that they are certainly right up there on the list!

nescia 04-08-2008 02:35 AM

Welcome to Menewsha, Mr Bun.
In the future, please try to reply to everyone within one post.
Posting multiple times in a row like that is not allowed here.
I'll edit your posts to show you what I mean.

Baja 04-08-2008 02:42 AM

lol be afraid.
Be very afraid. xD
Oh, and welcome to Mene. <3

Nightgaunt 04-08-2008 10:09 PM

*noogies Bun* <3

I'm open for glomping anyway. <3 Although I am growled at! Yeek! *pretends to cower* ohnoes! ^_^;

MurasakiCrown 04-08-2008 11:03 PM

Suggestions? Oh boy, I'm not so good at that..

Um there are a lot of good roleplays that allow newbies to join, and since it's roleplay, you earn quite a bit of gold XD Some of your posts just end up being long (but not needlessly wordy!)

There's also the General Discussion forum. There's always lots to talk about there! XD

there's also this forum. I like this forum because I get to meet so many people, and I've even managed to help someone (imagine that, me, helping!).
Also, there's a lot of fresh meat here... hehehehehe I mean, so many nice pixels- I mean people! Yes, people... *cough*

If you enjoy reading books or watching movies (I almost typed that backwards XD "reading movies".. WTF), there's also forums for that ^^ or art! There's 4 forums dedicated to the arts alone XD

Jezriel 04-09-2008 12:14 AM

No one expects the Spammish Repetition.... XD

Welcome to the madhouse, Mr Bun. :wink:

Takes a while to get a full set of clothes around here, so get used to running around in your underwear. In the meantime, have fun!

Mr Bun 04-09-2008 12:36 AM

@Ashlemo-
I try to be personable. And I love your ghosts. did you get them at a special event?
Luckily I don't have to worry about tornadoes where I live. Blizzards are a different story. Wee, so glad winter is over.

@Arkeyla-
Yeah, Holy Grail is great. Have you heard the music for Spamalot yet? That's got some great stuff on it. Including a musical version of the cart scene. "I'm not dead yet"
As far as English comedies go I do love them. Have you ever watched "Are You Being Served?", "Faulty Towers" or "Keeping Up Appearances"? I have the complete series on DVD for the first two. All three are great. Ms. Slocombe and Mr. Humphries are a riot on "Are You Being Served". But the English sense of humor is different then anything else you hear in the states. They do things you wouldn't hear on network TV. I just love it.

@Nescia-
Thanks for the fix. :-)

@Baja-
I am afraid.
Very Afraid. :wink:

@Nightgaunt-
Hi. See you in a AM

@Platinum Child-
I think I'll have to check out the movie and reading ones first. Then maybe the Role Playing. Thanks for the help and direction. I appreciate it. *bows*
And hopefully I'll be as stylin' as you some day.
P.S. I see you are on Dev art. If you don't mind I'll have to check you out. Well...your art of course.
And I don't believe a word of what Secret said...unless I should.

I'll hopefully see you all tomorrow. Off to watch tv for a bit.
Mr. Bun saying "try the Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam."

ashlemo 04-09-2008 12:47 AM

@Bunny Wow, you're popular! :3
I got them from a friend, but, yes, she got them from an event some time ago. They're cute, aren't they? *Giggle.*

lizrd356 04-09-2008 02:26 PM

hello welcome to menewsha,i hope you like it here with us. :D :) :D

MurasakiCrown 04-09-2008 03:32 PM

You're very welcome, and thanks for checking out my deviantART ^^

ER.... I don't EAT them.. I just like teasing them a bit. I evaluate how much I like them by their reaction XD

Aer 04-09-2008 10:49 PM

Hey, welcome! Hope you have fun.

Mr Bun 04-10-2008 12:57 AM

Jezriel-
Hi Jezriel,
Pleasure to meet you. And you are right. No one expects the Spammish repetition. Or atleast that's what Cardinal Fang told me after I tortured him with the comfy chair...and a plate of spam.

I'm beginning to think I'm gonna love this mad house. :D
Even if I have to spend a while in my boxers. Course the longer I am like this the more comfotable I get.

@Ashlemo-
The ghosts are really cool. I love 'em.
And I felt that both DZ and Inuyasha got really repetative. How is DNAngel though? Is it any good?

And thanks for coming back!

@lizrd356-
So far I can't think of a better place to be. :D Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the spam.

@PlatinumChild-
I always like checking out cool art. And I really like yours. The Great Blue I think is my favorite but PlatinumChild is a pretty close second. Really nice. I bow. *Bow*
No eating? that ruins all the fun. Now what should I do with the BBQ sauce? :wink: And Dare I ask, how is my evaluation going? Or will I just have to wait and see. :D

@Aer-
Hi Aer,
Thanks for stopping by. I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun here. Great artists, fun people, and I haven't even gotten beyond Fresh Meat, let alone get dressed. how could I not?

Caroline 04-10-2008 02:01 AM

Re: Fresh Meat???

Hey there Mr Bun, welcome to Menewsha!
Good to have you here. *Quickly shoves BBQ sauce packets into back pockets* Nah, no need to worry, I'm a vegetarian. :D
You like SF as in... San Francisco? I can't think of any other SF, except for Site Feedback, and I'm not sure why the forum would be an interest of anyone's. P:

Jezriel 04-10-2008 02:09 AM

@Caroline - :lol: Most likely he means Science Fiction.

I'd like to suggest the pixel staff create us some deadly Fruit to arm ourselves with. Then if I were to attack someone with a banana... er... never mind...

*creeps back under her rock* >.>'

MurasakiCrown 04-10-2008 02:25 AM

The Great Blue is the most popular piece in my gallery ^^

Aw.. you got sauce? Well, I have some chicken! ^^

BTW: you rate a 10 out of 10. It's really nice talking to you (and lots of fun >w<)

~ <3
