The best thing to do when starting out is to read the T.O.S. and stickies. Each site is known for having similarities and differences when compared to other sites, and you'll find that the rules on Menewsha are stricter than on many other sites.

If you would like to make gold, the best way to do it is to post around as many forums as you can. No coyping and pasting because it's against the rules, and your post must be relevant to the topic. No double-posting either. If you need to reply to more than one comment, use @*insertusernamehere* or use multipble quotes. I think the former is the easier way though.

The longer your posts are, the more gold you get. I think some good places to start are the General Discussion forums, because there's always something to talk about there. It's also a cool idea to stay here and greet other newbies, that way you get to meet many new people ^^

And what do you mean by double posting?

making two posts back to back is double posting. If you have something to add but no one has replied, then edit your last post, don't make another one.

Double posting is when you post two post together.

Just having one of your post right after the other is double posting.

Just edit your post if you have something else to say and left it out or forgot it.

Posting right after yourself is considered double posting, even if you're quoting someone else ^^

If you need to say something but forgot to say it, and no one has posted after you, it's better to just edit your original post ^^
