Haha! Neither have I! I'd probably faint from all the blood.
Never have I ever seen an egg or eggs hatching.
Wild Tiger story for
Cherry Who?:
Yeah, someone illegally bought tiger cubs in my country. I don't know all the details but the local government decided to take care of and protect them with the help of a rich man who owned a lot of land. The owner of the land really doesn't visit the lot, at least he wasn't there when my family and I visited. 2 female tigers and a male tiger, the male tiger is of a different breed. I don't really remember their breed but I remember the bengal tiger is one of them. I guess they really weren't THAT wild since they were safe in a private land, but the land was quite large and the tigers only have minimal human contact.
Anyway, the only close human contact the tigers ever get is from the caretaker who gives them food and also guards the land with his family. He mentioned to me that the tigers, especially the male, like playing with a red ball (that was attached on a stick like a fishing rod). I went with him as he patrolled around the very large area, which was protected with very thick, wire fence. I remember one of the female tigers was the first one to peek at us, probably curious by our smell or MINE since they haven't smelled me before. Then the other female tiger strolled by to look at us too. It was the male tiger who appeared last and he went directly towards us, continuously sniffing with very alert eyes, and he didn't leave us.
The caretaker climbed up a steep metal stair that would let him play with the tigers with the red ball. The male tiger was SOOO huge as he stood up to reach and smack the ball, trying to grab it and catch it. He was so beautiful.

After awhile, one of the female tiger appeared and played with the ball too. That was when the male tiger stopped playing and went back to looking at me and sniffing. My fingers were itchy to touch and scratch his chin the same way I normally do with my cat.

He suddenly leaned on the fence and sort of rubbed the side of his body on the fence. Knowing that was my chance, I quickly touched him through the fence as he continued rubbing. He smelled like earth (naturally) and his fur felt a bit rough since the strands of his fur were thick. I'd like to think he liked my touching him since he rubbed the side of his body for quite sometime on the fence just in front of me.

I'll never forget that experience, ever.
