I don't even have arachnophobia, but watching them crawl so quickly all over me for 10 hours would certainly make me go insane. I hope the ants would just think I was a hill.

Mmm. It's not humanly possible to survive on 500 calories a day. If it were more reasonable I would choose that option. Like if it were 1000 or 1500 calories per day.

But because I'd just outright die if I only ate 500 calories a day I'll have to choose the second option.

Depends. Am I at work? If I'm at work, I'd rather have people tell me what needs to be done, rather than sit there trying to look busy and having no idea what I'm supposed to do but can't come off as doing nothing. If I'm at home relaxing, I'd rather I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing and just chill.
