[XD] I haven't been scared of an American horror movie since the Mummy, back when I was in second grade or something. [lol] American horror films are pretty much all about the gore and monsters/ghosts/aliens/whatever trying to murder everyone's arses...it's not scary if you're pretty much immune to gore. [sweat] Japanese/Korean/Thai horror films, on the other hand...NOPE. [gonk] |
I read a disturbing manga by Junji Ito... it was those RRRRRR! RRRRR! things [gonk] That was pretty disturbing.

I'm not really scared of horror movies, I just don't watch them because they're pretty much rinse and repeat kinda things. I'm terrified by more realistic horror movies, though. Like stories of real life serial murderers, etc.

@ElysiumFate - I can't see the picture [gonk] It's just an error image. I think images from funnymemes.com gets errors at times, that was what happened to me a few posts earlier in this thread.
Yeah, my cat does that a lot too. It really makes me uncomfortable when she does that late at night and it's only the two of us in the house. lol I get scared but I love getting scared from horror movies. xD I can't handle gore though, I'm a bit queasy when it comes to blood and bloody parts. I'd rather watch horror movies than gorey movies. |

I've watched so many gorey shows and movies that I'm kinda immune to it, especially if it's over-the-top gore. If it's realistic it'll creep me out. I have a thing against realism in horror. The realistic blood and all are the ones that freak me out too. Worse if they add in a realistic sound effect (sound of body crashing on the ground, sound of skin being ripped, etc) that goes along with it.
