I really loved this anime. The idea was awesome! And the whole plot is wonderful. But fr me the only thing I didn't like was art. I don't know.. it was pretty odd, but I still enjoyed watching <3

Yeah i really liked the Plot in the story also. I think it tied pretty Nice but the end mad me mad i want to know if thats her D:
Im pretty Sure it is but it still irritates me that i dident get to see if it was Lucy.

Yeah, I watched that anime a while back.

It was a pretty good one, especially being as it was such a short one. I really can't remember what happens at the end though. Hmn <_<

this is defenatly one of my top favorite animes, the change from Lucy to Nhu was amazeing. Nhu's cuteness and then lucy's destructiveness <33 the best of both worlds.

I love Lucy! She represents me so much, aside from the killing XD, Im an insane wild child, the plot is what got me mostly intrigued; as I didnt care for it being in Japanese with English Subs. I loved the art, it is what sets it apart from every other anime.

If I knew Lucy, [like many] I'd hug her...I really sympathized with her character through the whole show...

I sympathizes with nana and lucy, though I am not sure what would happen if you did hug lucy, but yes this series is great, I also like it because it has a great plot line despite being blood and nudity based at times. i was so scared watching the first episode because I was in a dark room in the night and the wind was making my fireplace banging sounds like the hands on the wall, it was funny I got scared by it but still, good series.

it was too bad that it was so short though.
i liked the kissing scene... not many animes that i've seen actually have a part where the love birds of the show kiss xD

I have watched the anime. Nyu/Lucy is my favorite character.
I am currently reading the manga, which the latest chapter i believe is 70 somthing.
It is close to the anime, but some parts of it are different.
I prefer the manga to the anime.
Elfen Lied is a great watch and read, and I can't wait to see how it all ends in the manga =3

I own the whole thing. I love nyu, we have a poster of her on the wall. and lucy is cool too but I'd have to say my fav character has got to be nana...I feel sorry for her though.

I love nana, and lucy, but i feel sorry for them both when they fight. Also found it is best not to watch the first episode late night alone one a stormy night, that was bad.

Or on a Halloween blood-fest in anime club. I can't remember if we watched this one before or after an episode of some anime (who I can't remember the title of) that was bloodier than the episodes I've seen of Elfen Lied.

I should really go find the series and watch it again now that blood is pretty to me. Though there is so much blood in the first episode ^^;;

oh I almost forgot, I also like the male doctor who got the horns but not the vectors...poor thing..lost his head...slowly.

Elfen Lied is one of my favorite animes of all time (I even have the boxset at home). I didn't find it scary at all but rather tragic. And I really love the OP (so much that I learned how to sing and play it on the piano). :D

I started it and watched it all in no time. It was highly addicting. My favorite character was Lucy. Most people think she's just soo evil and sadistic, when she's really just misunderstood. I felt really bad for Nana as well at the end. That wasn't really fair for her >.>

Oh, and you're forgetting a character CupCake :p Mariko, whom was Kurama's real daughter. Though she wasn't really in it for long >.>

I felt bad for all of the characters really. It was just so depressing to watch, but that's what interested me about it. If an anime can't get me emotional, then it's just not worth it ;D I cried for like 20 minutes at the end of the last episode :p

I loved this anime! It was so deep, interesting, and cool all at the same time. Plus, I love gore! ^_^ I also liked Nyuu, she was so oblivious, it was funny at times. I think it was very original with it's plot and ideas.

This easily was one of my favorite series that I have ever seen, and i'm planning on reading it sooner or later. The plot was suberb, the art amazing, and the characters were briliantly developed and designed. Plus, who, after seing it, doesn't want vectors?

I love that anime/manga I have to agree with alot of people, lucy/Nya is the best I feel sorry for that little girl, i can't remember her name... tat little girl who's mom thought she was lieing when she told her that the stepfather was well you know. I was like... that basterd! and i wanted to go inside the tv and kick his butt to kingdom come... lol nana kinda annoyed me. when her and lusy fought i was like YES kick her ass lucy!!!... im a bad person T-T

Haven't read the manga but the show was really good.

Elfen Lied is one of my favorite anime series ever. XD Lucy is misunderstood, yes, but she's my favorite character. Nyuu is amusing, but there's nothing like watching Lucy be a fuckin' badass. XD

kuhta was really nice to nyuu it was cute, but it was mean how he told screamed at her b/c of the shell. o;

All I can ever say about Elfen Lied is that it's really sad. I think it changed me a bit. Still very good though :yes:
