@Pepper: Ahh. =\ That sucks. Make sure that whatever degree he wants to get, the school is covered. When I first got out, I was going to school for Illustration. But the degree/school was so expensive that my GI Bill didn't cover it and I had to pay out of pocket. Thankfully now I switched majors and it's fully covered.
Also know that, while in, it might not be possible/extremely difficult to go to school while still being in.

I don't know to be honest, he is more on the thing that they will pay his school bills for the most part. I hate his family with a passion though, he would not be feeling this way if they just left him alone. The last time we talked he was so depressed because of them

@DD: If you're talking about Tuition Assistance, that got brought back just recently. Although, they do expect some limitations to it. That being said, there is still the GI Bill.

Yeah he is keeping as an option, but when we first got together his family was really ridding his ass to join so he was going to and then I came along and he realized that he didn't want to leave me behind worrying about him. And that is also what is keeping him from joining now, he just doesn't want to leave me behind.
I will have to tell him about that the next time we talk so he knows.

Exactly and his family is just trying to get him gone because they don't care about him. If I were not here he probably would already be enlisted. That is really all that he is worried about is money for school and it is because he is having a hard time finding a job at the moment

Well if he does go in the military just a warning on you and him, lots of guys will tell him to dump you or cheat on you because you are not around. They will talk down to him and berate him all the time. When he is in basic he will be yelled at constantly and threatened to be recycled. once he gets out of Basic and goes into tech school the same will be said of him if he doesn't do well in the class but they will be threatening to kick him out. Once he gets to his job he will need to do more training there and threaten to get kicked out of the military along with they talking about cheaters and such. If he gains any weight he will be threaten to get kicked out of the airforce so he will need to keep a daily workout routine.

So there is a ton of stressed, and I don't know how depressed he is but he will need to try to keep up a good attitude. Not to mention me and my boy have gotten into a bunch of fights because we don't get much time to talk. Personally if he wants to do it he will need to have alot of will power.

Then again this is my personal experience, he could have an easy time.

I was talking about community college of the Airforce which was free before, now they have to pay out of pocket. I think that's what it's called my boyfriend knows that he can't get it anymore :(

Ikuku, I see. Neither am I. xD My zumba and runs are the most physical activity you'd get from me. Strength texts..bah. Duration, nope. Stressful situations.. I'd fall to pieces. xD
