WRITING CONTEST ENTRY!!

Entry:
The snow barely moved as she gracefully made her way across the barren field. Wind picked up any scent of her and dispersed it, weakening it, making her nigh invisible. She was returning after a failed hunt. The humans of the land were otherwise hidden, game animals had hunkered down with the blizzard on its way. Hunting was more difficult than usual and she was returning to the pack empty handed as proof.

Moving closer to the edge of the forest she noticed that an eerie glow was cast on things around her as she moved. She crouched and growled, her fur bristling out around her neck. Something brushed the ground near her head. Startled she jumped and made a yelp, the thing swung into her field of vision again. She tilted her head back and forth, the same thing happened, something moved in and out of her vision. Whatever it was that was making the lights was stuck in her horns.

There was a pond close to where the clan met that would be frozen over, she made a diversion in that direction. Reaching the edge she pawed aside the snow that had drifted over the glassy top, looking back up at her was her own reflection. Something wonderful adorned her horns and she puffed up in pride. She couldn't remember getting tangled in anything but there they sat, with a beautiful glow. Perhaps the pack would be more amazed at her new jewelry and not notice the lack of food she brought with her.

It seems like a very rich background for these creatures and I feel like I only got a peek at it!!

-nodnod- They've had four years in the making.. I did simplify things a bit when I moved them to Mene, so people unfamiliar with the shop hopefully wouldnt feel overwhelmed. xD

Totally planning a meta-plot update when we have some solid activity for the shop, though.

Meta-plots are always fun. Hopefully I can drag my rp muse out of hiding in time if there be rp involved in it. He's been.... irksome.
