How is the event treating you? :3

I don't quite understand where I can petition my goddess at... But otherwise it's looking very interesting! The system is strange, and it'll take a day probably for me to understand and orient myself to it. How's it treating you?

It's treating me well, I'm a bit confused as well but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. :3

V I X E N: I'm going to be around for a while, it's only lunch time here (although I do feel a bit sleepy... XD ).

This whole event makes me wish I had practiced my singing more when I was younger. Not that I ever was all that good but I guess that's what singing lessons and practice sessions are for.

i don't really believe in singing lessons all that much.
Sure they can tell you how you can practice. But the only person that can teach you to sing is yourself
Practice.
BUT... then there are some people who think they can sing... But just cant,

Yes I agree, practice is definitely the determining factor. :3
In the beginning it can be good to have some help though so you don't develop bad habits that can be harmful in the long run.

Oh my goodness, I usually avoid all kinds of idol competitions on Tv but some people are just... well, I have to admire their guts (or lack of self-perspective, I give them that. XD
It certainly makes good TV.

Some of it just makes me laugh...
I hate the show cause they never let the awesome people in.
Its always Pop, RnB, & crap like that
Where is the metal, the rock *not the shitty rock*
But where is that alternaitve stuff
I remember a while back.
A chick got through cause she sung evanescence Bring me to life.
It was awesome..
but she got kicked cause they made her sing all this pop shit.
i think she wanted to leave, cause she realized the show is a piece of shit

Yes, it's very mainstream oriented. But I guess that's what they know will sell...
Different styles fit different voices and not everyone was made for pop.
When done right, ever style can be just as awesome in its own right.
I like pop music but there has to be variation and alternatives too or listening will get very boring and monotone in my opinion.

My playlist is mostly 60's and 80's songs though so I'm not sure how much variation it displays.
