Get a colour that you really like!! It's the best thing about dyeing hair. I also suggest you dont do it yourself. Ive tried to do that and I failed horrible. I had to run out and get another bottle of the same colour so I could get my mum to put the dye in where I had missed it. It was terrible funny >.<

Make sure it is okay with your job.

I am scared to use one of those temporary colors I don't think I would go crazy with the colors xD

Why scared to use temporary colours? They come out in 6 washes max ha

I had a bit of purple in my hair when I had blonde.
It didn't last long..

My pink, blue and purple never lasted long haha. I had to dye it pretty much weekly

My purple faded to blue.
So I had blue for a time also.

Watch out, dyeing hair weekly can be dangerous to you hairs health. I know that much already. Ive never gone a really crazy colour because of private schools and working.

Mine was only a small part.

The red wasn't supposed to be so bright.
When the lady dyed my hair she was surprised.
It was supposed to be much darker than that.

My hair's always been really healthy despite me dying it pretty much constantly for the past four years. My mum's a hairdresser though so that probably helps ha

I've had bunches of different colors of hair.
But each color was like a year apart.

The first time i dyed my hair was the best. Was so interesting looking at myself with different coloured hair.

I think I've changed a little. I do more socially (as in, I speak to people and am usually able to smile at and make eye contact with strangers) and I do more by myself (I flew on a plane alone last month.) I've lost a little weight, I work out, I study more. I do a lot less of the stupid things I did last year too. For example, I don't get fall-down drunk anymore. I rarely drink at all.
Also I'm A LOT HAPPIER this year than last year!
As for looks, that's definitely changed, at least a little.

The side part definitely suits your face more than the center part, Kita. It makes a big difference! I found the same thing to be true with me. I used to center part and it looked pretty awful. Then I discovered the wondrous side part.

I actually have bangs at the moment. Well, they're growing out, thank goodness. But when they get to where they look better, I'll be doing a side part again. I think it looks better on me. I have no idea why I didn't try it sooner. O_o

Same! Or, well, I think I know why I didn't try it sooner. I'd try it occasionally when my hair was dry and it would look really silly. But then when I parted it while it was still wet and let it dry that way, it looked so much better. With thick curly hair, your hair really needs to dry in a certain style or it just won't take to it. Once it has dried, it's done, don't move it an inch.

I look the same as I did in high school 8 years ago except that I've been dying my hair since then.
But I have become more active in that I volunteer now in two places, a food bank and a family kitchen.

My sister has super thick curly hair, and she always just combed it out while it was soaking wet and then put it in a really tight braid. There was water everywhere in our bathroom.

Darkness:: What color is your hair now? Mine's been black, brown, various shades of red and various shades of blonde. Its staying natural now though. I've damaged it too much, now I'm trying to recover it.
